I tolerate them, for the most part (I live in Texas, so I'm pretty much surrounded by them).

The ones who really piss me off are the ones who refuse to learn English when they get here. Some of the Hispanic people working in the kitchen where I work (fast food) have been living in America for nearly 10 years, and they still speak less English than a normal 6-year-old.

they should really just be referred to as undocumented workers. and for those who call them illegal aliens is even worse. some people fail to realize that latinos were here before europeans but were pushed out.

That's true but not just latinos are illegal aliens. But the ones that are are official citizens of Mexico. And they come into a total different country for better opportunities, which is fine. But they do it illegally. It's not like America closed its borders to any immigrants. Everyone has the chance to become a U.S. citizen, you just have to go through a process. I think if you want to make a better life for yourself and decide to come to another country you should work hard for it an do it the right way.

I have nothing against immigrants coming here but we can't help everyone in the world. They come here for better lives, but they're also putting a burden on the US.

not really, actually not at all. the natives welcomed the settlers with opened arms and taught them the way of the land. they did not believe in 'owning' land so they were willing to share. the europeans saw this as a weakness and exploited them because of it, claiming this as their land and even attempting genocide.

I would like if the world would be more like European Union, people moving over borders freely. - I know, I know I'm an hopeless Utopian.

Also people also move from rich countries to poor ones, it's not that usual, it's just less documented.

It's hard to "give the Boot" to folks with superior tech, numbers, and a host of European diseases. there were 30 million indians when they first arrived. and about 5 million once they were killed off or "relocated". I think ALL immigration should be stopped until we get our economy under control. Not just from south America but from everywhere no new European immigrants either.

That's part of what happened, but that's not the whole story.
If you honestly believe that every Native American tribe willingly gave up all the land to the settlers without a single bit of violence, then you have a lot of American history to learn.

I'd have to agree with that, thats just being overly stubborn. If your going to live here, atleast try to learn English. You don't have to be perfect, just enough so I can understand !@# you want.
I certainly don't have a problem with Immigrants, although I wouldn't mind taxing and setting up a way for a majority of illegals that aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

I sure as heck don't want or need armed Neo-Nazi patrolling the borders. :P

Mexico is part of North America. I dont think we have a problem with countries in South America immigrating.

Of coarse they fought back AFTER they were being forced westward as the europeans started to expand their 'land'! they had been here for many many generations and had settled into their lands. would you want to be kicked out of what your tribe, family, elders, children and past generations all considered their home?? i doubt anyone would sit idly by and just loose everything you've ever known.

also, if you truly think i don't know what I'm talking about, go ahead and do your own research then come back and try to question anything i've said.

I wish I could go back in time and give the Indians advanced weapons so they could protect themselves. Europe always sends its undesirables to settle new lands and displace native people see Australia, South Africa, U.S.A. etc. All non-native American people are descended from immigrants. Though I must say if you are going to be here, speak English or go home.

Here in Mèxico there is problems with illegal immigrants, most of them from Cuba, Argentina, China, Colombia and Haiti.

We Americans are arrogant bastards because those in power here WANT cheap labor, tax free. At the same time the ignorant masses who lose work and benefits because of it are led to blame the immigrants who simply seek a better life. An intelligent person might wonder why the immigration laws are not respected and enforced to begin with? Who HERE is truly responsible for "stemming the tide?"

I suppose it could be assigned by birth place but if lets say humans arent natives of earth and we accept "our" law of birthright, its like taking something from someone and making your own laws to justify it; only this time it involves the person taking something and after a few generations of possessing it becomes their property .

I did not said proof on purpose, I said evidence.... everything we know shows it more likely this is our birth cradle! And we didn't take Earth from anyone else! Iridium killed the dinosaurs we had nothing to it, they were already dead! (last sentence is mostly a joke )

Perhaps but i was thinking more along the line of human beings as the spliced genetic creations of and alien race to work as their slaves to mine gold from the earth .
By spliced i mean the combination of these Alien creatures and earth creatures , likely to be homonids so that they can survive in the local climate and are also capable of easily understanding their masters due to the alien DNA.
After they finished their mining they left the earth and left us to our own devices on earth .

Most of this comes from the ancient Sumerian texts, its very interesting, add to that this comes with compelling evidence and seems to fill in many gaps in the mystery of human origin.
Though it is still a theory and so is the current mainstream scientific belief of mankind's origins and all we can do for now is speculate until faced with real evidence .

I didn't mean to insult you. I know everything you said it legit. It just looked like from your previous posts that you were saying there was never any violence between settlers and Native Americans.

Well, naturally. There weren't THAT many of the original settlers. They didn't take up that much room on the east coast. It was only when they started growing in numbers that they wanted to start spreading further out for elbow room. That's when they really started ticking off the natives.

Exactly. What part of illegal do people not understand? My major issue is that they are given benefits, yet they don't put anything back into the systems. There are people who are here legally who are expected to pay taxes, etc., yet they can't get the benefits that some of the illegal immigrants get.

I have a bigger issue with the fact that they were able to get over here in the first place. Aren't people, like, PAID to guard our borders?

However, I have to say that I still have mixed feelings about them. That whole "illegal" thing is hard to get over. However, I also know that Mexico is sh*t right now, and sending them back could cause a lot of trouble with their families who are already established here.

I have a "dreamer's" perspective, but a "realist's" convictions.

Speaking English doesn't bother me so much. It's hard to learn a second language, and I commend any who actually try. My biggest problem is that a lot of times non-English speaking Americans as well as Immigrants(legal or illegal) use their children for communication. That is not right. I worked with someone whose parents did that to him as a child, and it's not something a child should be responsible for.
