Not like I'm black I'm white, where did you family come from.
For me I'm Anglo-Norman so I come from Vikings who lived in england and northern France.
What is your heritage?
There have been threads like this (But I've been having trouble founding them lately, I think they got deleted). Well, anyway. I'm Italian, Irish, German. I believe I'm more Irish. I hate math. My Italian side comes from Trentino and Florence. My Irish side comes from County Mayo and County Cork and my German side comes for somewhere in the south of Germany.
Well, apparently one of my ancestors (and I'm talking like, 1200 AD) claims heritage from Thor, so most likely Viking territory.
If you know it so well, than I want an EXACT LIST OF WHERE YOUR FAMILY COMES FROM. AND A FAMILY TREE! :)
Mostly Irish with a liberal amount of Scottish thrown in, along with a decent amount of German and spatterings of French and Dutch.
I claim heritage to Robert Louis Stevenson, the Stevenson clan of the Scottish highlands (they built most of the lighthouses), Dolores O'Riordan of The Craberries and Holly Riggenbach Black, the author of The Spiderwick Chronicles.
" well, i'm black, native american, and white. my grandpa was german. "I knew it!
Considering I live in Sweden and that on my mother's side, I have Swedish relatives dating back to the 19th century (church archives dating even further back were lost in a fire, apparently), it's not a far stretch to imagine that some of my ancestors were Vikings or of an otherwise ancient, Scandinavian sort.
Mother's Side: Scottish, Swedish and a wee bit Irish.
Father's Side: English... and probably others seeing as my family has been in the states since Jamestown. There's sure to be intermingling somewhere.
ancestral grandfather (idk homany great-greats that is ) was from spain and ancestral grandmother is taino indian , making my family bloodline from my fathers side the first present or modern day puerto rican race . as for my mothers side there is some spainard blood there but her family never left the island so idk i guess investigate that further lol
I'm part random white boy, mostly Scottish, and part Wopajo, which is my mother's term for being Italian and Native American. I have a sister who is half Japanese and half white, which I have dubbed Rice Cracker. Nothing is more touching and heart-warming than coming up with ethnic slurs to describe your own family.
