Lord Of The Rings "movie version before Hobbit" the books I wouldn't consider a trilogy.

Mine's a tie between the original Spider-man trilogy and the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy.

The trilogy I most anticipate to have completed is the third part to Seaguy!

The Berlin Trilogy is great as well

Once they make that third movie, Hellboy will be my answer though, those movies are amazing and I can't wait for a third one

Right now it's either the Lord of the Rings Trilogy or the Original Trilogy...

But when The World's End comes out, it's probably going to be the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy.

For movies, I have to go with Lord of the Rings. It's the only movie adaption that I'm aware of that has rendered its original source obsolete. I feel absolutely no desire to open up another Tolkien book when I can just watch movies which have masterfully modernized the tale while retaining its core essence.

Star Wars was great for its time, but it was before my time. And my parents were going to Led Zeppelin concerts instead of the movies, so none of that got carried on. Oh yeah, and the prequels did nothing for me.

Hm. I liked those movies, but I wouldn't necessarily count them amongst my favorites.

By any measure LotR is the greatest trilogy of all time.
