What is true evil?

This has been a question that's been on my mind for a while. Which is more evil?

An evil that knows that he/she/it is evil but chooses to commit evil regardless.

Or

An evil that believes that the evil that he/she/it commits is just and right.

The first one.

Evil and good doesnt exist.

The first one the other depends on what do you consider just.

@penderor if someone comes into your home and beat you up for no justifiable reason wouldn't you consider them evil?

@darktimecop: You're missing an option. That's the Banal evil which are aimless people who are following something because it's their job. i.e. purposeless people, who go along to get along.

Evil 1: Aku, Darkseid, Joker, etc...

Personally, I think Evil 2. It's more dangerous when they believe that their evil is good.

That's both examples 1 and 2. TMZ believes what they're doing is just, they know what they're doing is wrong but they do it anyways. You heard it here first folks, TMZ is the true evil.
