Here's my answer: The big A is the worst city over Detriot or Chicago.

Worse state? I'm going to hate myself, but it's California. Worst city is Chicago.

Worst state: Connecticut (I would know because I live here.)

Worst city: Hartford (a city in ... Connecticut, lol). New Haven comes close, though.

Watch everyone post either Chicago, Detroit, the states those cities are in, or the same state and city they live in. Maybe someone will say New York.

SEATTLE WASHINGTON IS THE WORST CITY EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I have yet to have someone bring me evidence that Chicago or Detroit is so, so awful, in modern day America.

Yupp. Hmmm, 50.25 states, countless cities, dozens of metropolitan areas, nigh impossible to have visited each one for an extended period of time...also known as the "Which State/City Does the News And Blown-up Statistics Tell You Is The Worst?" thread.

Also: I ♥ New York, she's faultless to me! I'd rather have high taxes and roads, police, firemen, & ambulances than low taxes and none of those.

There was a study released about a week ago which concluded that California is in fact the most poorly mismanaged state in the whole country.

Detroit is a warzone. The cops have even admitted they don't go in there.

Detroit has been a dump for years now. It is pretty much the Chechnya of the United States, except without the radical religious/anti-Russian Federation crazies. People have just given up on it.

Detroit isn't a bad city, coming from a person who lived there for 3 years.

Baltimore is the worst city if you are going by terms of being bad criminal wise.

If just in general definitely New York or San Francisco.

State is California, people are really rude around here..
