Hercules,Atlantis and Peter Pan.
What is the worst animated movie made by Disney?
@logy5000 said:
@TheGoldenOne: Oh, non sequels, let me think:
1:Peter Pan
2:Robin Hood
3:101 Dalmations
4:Hercules
5:Pinocchio
Whoa whoa whoa whoa! Whoa! You do not badmouth the masterpiece that was Hercules!
@Sorceror_Swift: Hercules was inaccurate. The movie itself was good, but I hated the whole idea of Hercules being a god.
I just wanna come in here for a second and say I've seen The Black Cauldron at least 5 times, and I liked it every time.
Having said that, my least favorite Disney movie (animated) as a child was probably Snow White and the 7 Dwarves... I think.
Nowadays I rate them entirely upon songs.

I'm gonna say it....
Hunchback of Notredame
May I ask why?
The bad guy doing the thing with the fireplace. Demons coming out of it. I know, I read Spawn
<-----
But it scared the crap outta me as a kid.
@Leviathan_SonofGenesis: Oh right, just curious. I asked because many people who hated the movie because how it contradicts the source material. The book is a lot more darker, no gargoyles, no Clopin, Phoebus is an asshole, Quasimodo is a lot more bitter and Esmeralda is more younger than in the movie.
The movie creeped me out too as a kid, but I liked it for the songs.
Hunchback of Notre Dame
There wasn't any football in the movie!
Kidding...
But no, really, that movie sucks.

Pretty much any sequel.
Have to agree with this.
Y'know, I'm trying really hard to think of a Disney sequel I didn't hate. Closest I can come to is the second Lilo and Stitch movie (the original kinda good. Sequel was okay)
Haven't seen many of these sequels but the ones I saw were bad. Not only story-wise but also animation-wise since all of them were direct-to-video instead of being released in the theatres.

Saw Mulan 2. Bad animation, bad storyline, acting from voice actors that didn't seem like they wanted to be there, bad songs, etc. And I like the original Mulan; one of my favorites. I also like Atlantis (I know, I know - it's Stargate. But still, I like it)

Never seen that one but I am not surprised by this based on the other sequels I saw. Wait, Atlantis the Disney movie or Atlantis Stargate because you confused me lol

@JediXMan: I suppose there are similarities now that you mention it, yeah. But I liked that movie even though its sequel was meh.
It's funny. I saw the sequel first, then I saw the original. I must admit that I do like parts of the sequel. It had some good stories.

Some were somewhat interesting, yeah but generally the movie could be better. Plus if I remember correctly none of all the stories was actually caused by Atlantean tech in the end lol

Well, to be fair, the sequel was really meant to be the first three-ish episodes of an Atlantis series, but it never got off the ground. So they just took the scripts and made it into a movie.
Honestly, it's been a really long time since I saw it. I don't remember the ending too well. The part that stands out to me was the first story involving a small village held hypnotized by a Leviathan. I liked that story.

Really? That explains that series like feeling I was getting at times while watching it.
Tbh I have only seen it once but fortunately I remember several details.

Yeah. The series was going to be based on them traveling the world investigating supernatural phenomenon, hence the team traveling the world and investigating supernatural phenomenons in the movie. They just rewrote parts of the movie so that it fit into a single narrative arc. But it still felt very episodic.
@logy5000:
A company later made a sequel to it. Dunno if it was Disney or not, but it was sure as Hell bad. Only good thing was the music. Check it out:
(2nd clip starts the music.)
@SpideyPresence:
Yeah.....but The Horned King is one of the best under-appreciated villains. Followed closely by The Sheriff of Nottingham in my mental book of Disney baddies.
Plus it's a Disney animation film to have the balls to show full blown zombies. ZOMBIES! In a kid film
Gotta love a wolf in pink.

Fox and the hound.
<////3 I can't believe you just said that...
Fox and the Hound is art.
I honestly cant think of one off the top of my head that I didn't like. I guess the sword and the stone wasnt the best movie but I still liked it a lot, and to this day I havent even seen the black cauldron once.

This!!!!
Yea I think Fox and the Hound is great. No scene has made me cry as much as the one where the old lady leaves Tod in the woods and drives away while he stares at her leaving all sad and confused :(
The book is even more tragic.
@Zorn_a_Rust_Red_Scythe: Agreed.
In the book, doesn't Copper kill Todd and Copper later dies because Todd gave him rabies? Something like that... read it in a Cracked article.

Didn't even know it was based off of a book. ;___; It's so hard not to cry when the lady abandons him. >_<
