Not sure. One that springs to mind is the Scarlet Spider Venom Variant which seems to be selling pretty well on eBay.

At one time or another in my life I have owned these comics. Amazing Fantasy #15 in Fair/Poor condition. Captain America #102 and #105. Spiderman #129. Wolverine #1 (first series). Incredible Hulk #181 and #182. Almost the entire run of Tomb of Dracula. Almost the entire run of Werewolf By Night. The first 20 issues of the original Defenders series. I have at some point or another sold all of these comics. Also had Marvel's Conan the Barbarian #1.

Now the most prized comic I have is the first 12 issues of TOPPS' The X-Files from the 90's .

I consider issues 1-4 of the "Lynch Mob" pretty rare, and I have those.

I would say my "rarest" comics are the Starstream science-fiction series from the 1970s. I don't think they are very popular so their value isn't very high. Perhaps $15-20 for each issue.

Starstream No. 1 (1976)
Starstream No. 1 (1976)

My most valuable comics would have to be Amazing Spider-man 121 and 122. I have a few other Amazing Spider-mans that are older than those two, but I think these two are among the most coveted and sought after in the entire series.

@gravitypress: I agree. I have other science fiction rarities from the 70s, including this classic featuring early work by Frank Miller.

I don't really have any rare or expensive comics, but this one comes to mind:

First appearance of the retconned, Post-Crisis Jason Todd. The origin story where he steals tires off the batmobile!
First appearance of the retconned, Post-Crisis Jason Todd. The origin story where he steals tires off the batmobile!

I also have this one-shot:

The Teen Titans team up with the X-Men against Darkseid, Deathstroke and Dark Pheonix
The Teen Titans team up with the X-Men against Darkseid, Deathstroke and Dark Pheonix

I found both of these in my cousin's attic. They're both in pretty good condition. Batman is from '87 and the Teen Titans and X-Men crossover is from '82. To be honest I really like these because I don't really have many single issues that aren't from a year or two or ago (New 52 and Marvel NOW!)
