I'm sure some of you may have seen this.It's called Lotushop.It's when you take the inside seeds of a lotus flower and apply it to the skin with photoshop.It doesn't sound that bad but when you actually see it..OMG.

i did two tours back to back to watch over my friends and marines. overall i did 14 months total but spend 3 weeks of them in germany for leave since the marine corps didnt want to pay me for a full yr so they had me take leave so they wouldnt have to and counted it as two separate tours.

See that's the kind of bs that lead to my not re-enlisting, the military has no problem spending money for all sorts of nonsense but not to pay good soldiers. I actually enlisted in '94 almost right after my 18th birthday, did basic, infantry scholl, and airborne school, was stationed at Bragg, after being accepted into the Rangers I was stationed at Benning with the 3rd Battalion. Traine dwith the 3rd SFG at Bragg, was in europe for a time, actually got to do some training with GIGNE in France.
i actually just finished my enlistment and am thinking of re enlisting but not sure if i want to go back as a marine or another branch. i am disillusioned from how i seen marines higher ups act and i am not sure if it would be any different in another branch. i mean i am one of those few ppl that believed and took my oath to heart just to see gunny's and officers blatantly break procedures and cover things up and when it comes to a marine being late for whatever reason make an example of them. but, god forbid if a SNco or Nco get caught having an affair or relationship with their subordinates they get covered up and or get sent somewhere else under the radar.
