In a world with such masterpieces as Citizen Kane, Schindler's List and Pulp fiction. With masterfully made film adaptations of great books like 1984, Shawshank Redemption, Fight Club, 2001: A Space Odyssey and The Godfather. And movies that prove a meaningful story can still be told while simultaneously giving us kick-ass action like the first two Terminator movies and the Matrix.
How could you possibly believe The Dark Knight F***ing Rises is better than all of them? A rushed, horribly passed film with gaping plot holes and post edit idiosyncrasies so prevalent you can almost smell them?
I'm not trying to start an argument, I'm just struggling to comprehend what new level of Batman fanboyism must have been reached for this type of thing to occur.
