What is the biggest regret of your life? (so far)
Not getting help with school. Or with personal problems. Or with.. well, just about anything, up until the fall of last year. I'm feeling the effects of screwing up in school because I refused to go and ask the teacher for help with my homework, or to get a tutor, or help with tests, or.. well, you get the point. I've just screwed myself over so badly that at the present date, I'm forced to go to community college instead of being able to qualify for anything on the state level. Pretty massive regret, hope that if I ever have kids, I can convince them to avoid this.
Not asking that girl too the Homecoming-dance. I knew she wanted me too ask her, and I had hinted at asking her several times. The day before I was going too ask her with a big surprise (her friends were going too help me get into her house and I was going to ask her when she came in the door), this douchebag that I never got along with asked her too go with him, knowing all along that I was going too ask her. She felt embarrassed and agreed too go with him, and I ditched school after second period and went home.
It's a tough call. I would say not killing myself when I was 12, but then I wouldn't have met some really awesome people on here, so it's difficult to say.
Depends on how you look at it.@FadeToBlackBolt said:

Negative as f***!
Is it negative to prevent years of suffering and misery, or is it a positive? Especially when you believe there's an afterlife, like I do.
Too many to name. Stealing from people I cared about, not taking better care of myself, stuff like that
Not walking away on two different occasions from my Mom's bullsh*t. I hate that, when you want to walk away so badly, but they call you back and you just have to go and stay and listen.

do either of those qualify as actual regrets? you can't regret not doing something until you're dead because there's always a chance you'll do it, and regretting personal characteristics is just self-defeating, although you could regret choices you made based on those characteristics
Then I regret about being an insecure person in the Junior High School (now that is a more specific regret)...
Holding on to old anger.
Trying to make friends with people that didn't give a **** about me.
Stretching before exercise (stupid runner's knee)
Not taking that job at Meryll Lynch after college.
This girl I used to know and like just got married this year. My biggest regret is not storming thru and stopping it.
It's not the BIGGEST mistake..cause I don't make many..cause I'm awesome, but a few weeks ago, this girl was totally hitting on me at the concessions stand at the movies (she worked there) but I was too annoyed that she was taking too long with my popcorn..cause I was late for the movie, to even notice and brushed it off, upon retrospect, she was probably taking so long because she was flirting with me..i should have went for it.
