Asked this for the fun of it, from a female I know, who`s been in a committed relationship for years.

"It`s pretty boring. And it`s about trust, and dependability. It`s stable."

And like it was put in an episode of Modern family, when you love someone, you actually like the boring stuff, `cause you love the person you do them with.

Love is about being goddamn pissed at your other half. My parents bicker all the time, and snap at eachother. For good reasons. They`re goddamn irritating. But they love each other. Every time I`ve slipped a fairly stupid, half-joking remark about them not being amorous towards eachother, I`v got an incredulous laugh. They hardly hug and kiss eachother, but they do sleep in the same bed.

They`ve been together for about...I dunno. 28 years? Loving eachother is a given to them.

<3 is also that element of fiery passion, that either turns in to the kind I mentioned, or ends bitterly and wrecks.

It`s also about a thousand things more.

Man, that's pretty deep. I see it that way too now.
