What if the Multiverse Exists?

If Alternate universes exist just like how they do in the comics, do you think that we're the main Reality just like Earth-616 or New Earth? Or are we just another "What If" reality that existed just for the sole purpose of something to go different for the entertainment of other entities?

Technically, wouldn't the "main" universe be which ever one "you" live in?

If the multiverse exists, that means we are another alternate universe O_O

It does. There are infinite realities according to string theory.

String theory is also ridiculous in some ways and not all scientists agree with string theory.

EDIT: One of the ways in which it is ridiculous, is in the multiverse theory. There's no evidence there's more than one universe, and by definition, the universe should encompass everything, so the notion there are multiple universes seems a bit odd to me.

I don't agree with the theory - although it would explain deja vu, to a point. I just think it's a very weird and improbable theory.

It really doesn't matter until we know, because until then, we won't be able to visit them.

There's endless possibilities.

For us maybe, but for all we know there could be a Real-life Living Tribunal out there watching over our reality.

If the multiverse theory is indeed correct, there's a very good chance we're not the main universe.

And by "very good chance"

I mean it is statistically impossible to assume we are the main universe.

It does exist. Just study the Theory of Quantum Reality.

If Time exist, so does another you.

For every choice an individual makes, a new branch of possibility is created through that individual.

So technically.

However... there is a contradiction to this.

Where do these 'additional' souls come from? 

Today we are nearly at 7 Billion. 

If the next 40 years result to an additional 7 Billion, that would equal 14 Billion humans on Earth.

yes there are an infinite amount of universes or multiverse. I believe that when we die our souls transition to another plane of reality while our physical bodies go through the process or recycle and re-evolution over time but then again I'm just weird like that

If there are multiple realities that correspond to similar occurrences yet deviate, then there is a universe out there where my father got infected after that one fight with the drug-addict, there's a universe where my parents split up, and a universe where I didn't turn my life around...

But then there would be a universe where I had superpowers...

What if multiverse existed? I'm not even sure this one does........

I believe the multiverse exists and it looks like science is heading in the direction of confirming that it does. May take years and years, but it looks like that's where it's headed. Doesn't matter if some scientists don't agree, scientists NEVER all agree on the same thing.

No, and any multi universe theory is stupid fiction. We don't even know a fraction of all there is in one galaxy, let alone a universe, and people are thinking we can confirm that more than one universe exists? Please.

If it were true, wouldn't there be a universe where humans have invented universal travel? So why aren't there people here from other universe telling us that its real?

I personally have troubles believing it. Because if it were real then some other dimensional being would have told us by now.

It's a cool idea I suppose...but really...who cares?

I mean, it wouldn't affect us really. Life would still be life. Death would still be death. Really, only afterlife would be affected, but who wants to believe that they're just an insignificant ripple in an eternal ocean of time?

It'd be cool. I like the idea of infinite universes. In one universe, Batman could totally exist, while in another could be the exact same except his bat-ears are like an inch shorter.

Infinite, peoples. That means the tiny changes too. I like to believe it exists. Cuz, I don't believe in a higher power like religion. But that's just me.

Maybe there isn't.

The chances of you living in an alternate universe is 0..... Evolution would most likely have changed. The chances of the same exact sperm contacting your mothers egg is very unlikely. Your parents even meeting. Your parents even existing........
