Would you be happy? Do you think they could do it justice like they did Marvel? Would you like more cross overs? Or do you not want to even hear of that?

Side Question:

Would it be cool if they somehow combined the marvel and DC universes if this did happen?

Disney wouldn't do much to the DC comics universe like they did to Marvel.Of course people are going to over react about this if this had happen.

I wouldn't want it, just because it limits competition, which equals to less quality in the product.

No. My answer is mainly for movie purposes. A combined universe in movies or comics wouldn't be cool. A combined universe in comics wouldn't be cool but a crossover event would be.

The DC movies would all be crappy comedys for a start. then all the comic characters would change to look exactly like the movie versions.

It wasn't asked in Off-topic which is why I didn't know. It was asked in a different part of the site.

The sad part is that younger people thought it was awesome..

This would f--king suck, I like the way that Warner bros does their dc movies, the tone, and themes they do are fucking awesome. Disney only cares about money and targets only small children which I don't like. All there movies are childish, which is why when selling the movie rights, Tolkien said on the contract that he didn't want Disney to have any part in the hobbit movies because he said Disney adds too many childish themes to their movies.

I would find the nearest bridge, and jump. Seriously..it's bad enough what Disney is doing to the MCU. I mean, they did some good. But the bad just seems to keep following. And tbh I'm scared to see how Star Wars will be handled.

Why do people think Marvel and DC combining is a good idea?

Both universes are already clustered and chock full of idiocy on their own.

So people on this board only care about Superman and Batman movies?

Also Green Lantern is more childish than any MMU film out there.

Disney is thriving with Marvel, WB can only seem to thrive with Batman. They don't deserve DC, cause they can't respect the company.

I'm sort of in the middle with this because one side of me thinks that Disney would make DC even more successful, but another side of me knows that the competition between DC and Marvel would be destroyed if they combined in one movie universe.

But Time Warner/WB did make DC successful, hello animation (Thanks Bruce Timm and Paul Dini!) and got some great film makers do push their characters to new heights on the movie screen: Donner, Burton, Nolan and Snyder. Sure they're slow and they've had some flops but they can get pass that easily. And DC has been in Time Warner's hands for a long time since 1969, so I don't think they'll never let it go and its pretty much engraved into their company now.

Well at least Disney would have already done a Flash and Wonder Woman movie and would have given Superman more respect.

Oh yeah, Warner Bros. did make DC successful. I'm just stating that Disney might make DC even more successful because they are one of the biggest companies around, but I do agree that Warner Bros wouldn't let go of DC just yet.

I think 90% of the people in this thread don't realize WB bought DC in 1969 and Disney bought Marvel in 2009.

If Disney bought DC in 1969, they would have never bought Marvel.

My point was that Dc Characters would die literally (Every characters that's not popular enought), do you think general culture know any character from Fawcett other than Captain Marvel? I dont think so.
