What I Once Believed....

This thread is kinda depressing. 
 
 
Anyway, I used to once believe in everything the books taught. Now I can't because I've learned enough to challenge what has been set in stone.

I once believed Captain Planet WAS a hero... It never occurred to me then that he was an Eco-Terrorist.

That never occurred to me til I saw this post.

I once believed in fairy tales til reality hit me.

i once believed that some topics are sacred and above debate or investigation.

I used to believe that children were the future, that we could teach them well but we had to let them lead the way and show them all the beauty they possess inside. That they needed a sense of pride to make things easier, and that their laughter could remind us of how we used to be.  Then I stepped into a classroom. :P

i once believed that thieves and serial killers were the ones who i had to  be afraid of ,then i checked out some websites on internet and changed my mind.

I used to believe that when it thundered it was the angels bowling.

I once believed jalapeno peppers were green peppers til I tried a jalapeno and noticed the difference.

I once believed I could accomplish anything in life till I had to make omelets for my nieces and nephews. They took over the cooking process as I nervously smoked a cigarette.

I once believed that Michael Jackson and ET were related... 

I once believed that video games are so easy to make. Now that I'm starting to study on programming, my faith in creating a game dwindled.

I believed Mayweather had balls... Nyehehehe!
 
Ok seriously... I believed clouds were cotton.

Yeah I was learning C++ but now I'm scriptwriting for a game I plan on writing and directing for.

In belgium we don't believe in santa claus but in sinterklaas it is a holiday on 6 september. You were given toys and candy in the night of the 6th september. Sinterklaas his helpers were zwarte pieten translated black piet they are black man and women.
didn't really believe in anything weird or funny ant i discovered the sinterklaas thing very early like when I was 5 or something.

i once believed that children were inherently good and later thanks to Catholicism inherently bad with sin, now i think it is neither.

I once believed soap operas would be around forever.

I used to believe in the Krampus 

i once believed that you can grow taller by stretching and putting weights on your legs while tangling

I once believed in fate. Not anymore, I no longer believe in pre-determined events.

I once believed that Pennywise the clown was real due to my brothers traumatizing me.

@Samimista:   what did he do?  I once believed  that i could become an astronaut so i would be president and astronaut that was a minority.

I once believed my face really would get stuck like that!

i aint gonna lie Pennywise the clown is what made me scared of clowns in the 1st place and is still in my subconscious think of it every once in a while at night.

i once believed that transformers were real and i would try to guess which car was a robot in disguise.

i once believed the justice system was fair.

I once believed toys would come to life when no one's around.

I once believed chocolate milk came from chocolate cows and strawberry milk came from pink cows.

I once believed that i would become the next Bruce Lee and be an action movie star

i used to believe  there was a woman  on earth just for me.............................

i once believed that i would be married to my soul mate there is no such thing.

I once believed doctors really want to help people out then I realized now a days it's about the cash.

I once believed that lawyers were there to help the innocent and serve justice.

Two Things:
 
I once believed that my parents would get back together when I was a kind
 
And I once believed that I had a shot with a childhood crush....

I once believe that everyone was born in the age they are now and when they turn to 100-years old, then, they start over their lives and repeated what they had just did... 
 
I was five at that time...

hmm.. interesting.
 
i once believed that i was the only one alive and everyone else were like machines. my reason was b/c i could hear my voice in my head and i assumed no one else had one.
