Fanboys, people who can't take no for an answer, people who get offended by everything, trolls, people who cry easily, people in general etc.
I have way too many pet peeves to list so I'll just leave it at that,
When women think they can get away with stuff by acting cute.
It works, though. What grinds my gears is people who let them get away with it. Unless it's me pulling the cute card since I am different and unique and a special snowflake who should get away with it.
uhhhhhhhh
When people take words far to serious.
For example; the "N" word. I use n!gga to describe all races and gender that belongs to the homo sapiens species; it's simply a universal term for me - as long as the word isn't meant in a hurtful and racist way, I have no problem with anyone using it. Because at the end of the day, it's just that, a word.
Imagined authority and power over the internet. No, that makes me laugh. Is there a 'what makes you laugh" thread?
@deronn_solo: Does that make me one of you're n!gga's then?
Daniel Bryan. Glad he got stripped of the title, he shouldn't of had a "heavy weight world title" in the first place.
@deronn_solo: Does that make me one of you're n!gga's then?
Sure it does.
You flaky ass hipsters. I remember when Avengers came out, on here it was universally revered basically, I was sure everyone thought that was good. A few years later and BOOM, I swore I saw a few people address it as a Train Wreck.
@_cain_: If so, then I'm on your side.
@warlock360: Exactly, I thought it was very well done. The Idea that they had how many damn movies to devoted to build up and character development for ONE GUY makes it a milestone in Cinema as that only has happened once I think before
People who add "the goddamn" to the beginning of their favorite characters name to latch off of the goddamn Batman. Come up with your own terms for Pete's sake.
Cynicism/skepticism/criticism for cynicism/skepticism/criticism's sake. People seem to think that being able to point out a flaw makes them intelligent; all it does is prove that they're eager to be @ssholes. If you're going to employ one of these, have a legitimate reason, or have a solution. Otherwise you're not doing anything but spreading your own negativity.
This! And Windows 8.1 grinds my gears.
It grinds my gears whenever I watch a monster movie with my dad and I cry when the monster dies and then my dad hits me...
People who bashed MoS

Are you seriously taking the position that if people are offended by something it's their fault/problem?
Old reply but hey, yours was to something I posted 25 days ago....

Are you seriously creating a straw-man argument? Point out where exactly I said that was the case.
When fanboys for a particular character are either too stubborn, or too blind to see the debunking of their character's feats when it's right in front of their face.

The words I chose were picked for a reason. I never accused you of saying that, but the implication of your post is pretty obvious.
You have posted in a thread about what "grinds your gears" that you find it frustrating when people take offense to you using the word n*gger because it's silly to get offended by a word. You also stated that it's not supposed to be offensive on your end when you use it. Considering that you justified your use of the word and then said that it grinds your gears when people get offended by it, it's not a huge leap to take when I inferred that you don't figure that it's your problem if somebody gets offended by it.
So who's problem do you think it is? Also, I think it's worth mentioning that I posed you a question. If you wanted to respond to me the easier path would have been to simply answer the question instead of throwing one back at me.
people who use speaker phone in public, I don't need to hear your conversation.
Also, people who sing/rap to themselves. You don't look cool, just crazy.

When you said "something". If looked as if you said meant more then words, by saying "something", but I guess it's just me arguing semantics.

N!gga and n!gger aren't the same words though. We humans has a society define the meaning of words--and practically anything. If a word evolves to the point is seen as a term of endearment, then that what it is.
Bitch literally means a female dog in heat, that didn't stop us, homo-sapiens, from giving it a different meaning, and to use it as an insult. I can point to various other words to further articulate my point. Overall, it's all about context

It depends on the context of the way the word is being used. Some words are offensive no matter how you use it, but other? Not so much. Truth be told, most people who want to bury then 'N' word are beyond hypocrites.
When people disagree with my opinions....my opinions are not subjective, they're objective fact. If you disagree with them that mean you're 100% wrong.
