I feel like I am getting different definitions.
What does justice mean to you?
Justice has two main components: 1. Ensuring people pay for their unlawful or immoral actions. Putting a murderer or rapist (for a couple examples) behind bars is justice, because it is punishment for their crime. This is what I think of as the "negative" side of justice; punishment and condemnation.
2. Most important, to me, is the positive side: Bringing closure and vindication to those who have been wronged. Justice is not just punishment, but a form of comfort for the aggrieved. This is what sets it apart from straight-up vengeance or payback; it exists as part of a system of people looking out for other people, and making sure that even if they are not treated fairly, their being wronged will be addressed. Although it can be tricky to navigate and hard to get into, at its core the justice system, and justice itself, is a form of community support telling you that no matter what happens, you are not alone.

This pretty much hit the nail on the head. In short if karma was a real thing.
@bboyyomama: You are so wrong is so many ways.
