What do you think of Gambling?

What are your opinions on it?

It's fine if you don't overdue it an end up with a compulsion/addiction.

Only gamble what you are willing to lose.

I think its fine if you have the money to waste. IMO If you have a wife (Or husband) and kids at home and you are barley making ends meet as it is, then gambling seems like a bad idea. On other hand, if you live by yourself and don't have a family or loved ones to take care of then gamble until your heart is content.

Small amounts are alright but excess gambling is stupid. Especially when is on something you have a low chance of winning.

If people really paid attention to the numbers, no one would gamble. Which is why my government invested a lot money towards gambling. It can be fun, though. With another person's money, of course. I haven't ever gambled with my own, and never will.

It's not for me. I don't even buy lottery tickets or 50/50 tickets unless it's for a good cause. When i play poker it's with candy.

I have never, and will never be a gambler. It's such an incredible waste.

I don't care for it because I don't want to get addicted, but I couldn't care less how other people want to spend their own money.

I think it is a waste of time and money. But hey if people want to spend time gambling then that is up to them.

I had to sell my left arm to get off my debts. So...I don`t like it as much as I used to.

@kfhrfdu_89_76k: gambling ruins lives believe me I've seen it. I only play poker but in the long run I always profit. So is it gambling at that point? Probably not. But in a given night it is. Lottery is a gross waste of money. So I avoid that and casino games.
