What do you do when your friend's GF is ugly as hell?

My friend is so in love with his gf, but our group of friends thinks she's totally ugly and his own mother entirely hates her. Should we do an intervention and tell him he needs to have standards and find someone better looking or should we let him make a bad choice in life? They're already talking about having kids and I don't want to be called to babysit fugly children.

why discriminate against her for being ugly. It's your fault for looking at her. You chose to look that ugly beast in the eyes

That is true, but everyone is different. Looks and beauty are subjective, what you may think is attractive someone else might not. Now if she is just not right for him then it is okay to intervene.

Well it's not just that she's extremely unattractive. I mean, the guy's mother hates her too because ever since he got a girlfriend he acts like an asshole to everyone else and his personality has made a turn for the worst. We think if he gets married he's going to get even more unpleasant. The big concern is that we don't want him to throw a fit and cut us all off because we've been friends for years before this, but he's super sensitive over this girl.

Yes, let them be happy it's their lives.
