What do both Men and Women waste their money on the most?

You know, given how these days we tend to live in such high maintenance, high standard ways with every other person having a black berry or new shoes or every video game. 
 
I figured I'd make a topic and see what kind of feedback it gets. 
 
This is for both Men and Women, so no bias of the genders. Make a list of both, if you want which you think is worse but keep it civil.  
 
 
Here's my list on what both genders these days waste or spend too much of  their money on IMO too much: 
  
Men: 
 -Video Games 
-Sports magazines 
-Porn  
-Beer
-women(what I  mean here are the player types who try to get women by throwing money at them, buying a new girl a drink every week or every day) 
-Technology 
-Sports channels   
-Junk Food 
-Supplements  
-online dating?

 
Women:  
-Purses 
-Clothes 
-Shoes 
-Drinks 
-Black Berries/texting
-Junk Food 
-Candy 
-Perfume 
-Fake Tans 
-Getting their nails done 
-Make up 
-Online Dating?

Hahaha, who still pays for porn? 

Also, is that based on any study or just a random generalization?

Yeah there is KS, they're called sex addicts lol(not joking either lol) they will spend money, do whatever it takes to get their "crave" fix like a druggy. If free stuff isn't good enough. You do have to admit, stuff you pay for is often better then free stuff. Sometimes.
 
But I'm sure MOST men and women too go to free sites for porn, no doubt.

That's their first source, lol but if they can't get any they will buy porn too if they don't have the internet. There's been a few documentaries and people(sex addicts) that waste thousands on sex/porn, whatever)  I can't remember the show but there was this case where a guy was so addicted to sex, that when he wasn't cheating on his wife when she wasn't home he'd buy porn after his internet was disconnected, hound her etc lol

lol I guess it depends, I've seen girls in my area wear less make up but have their face all orange like lol...it's kind of funny. Cause think about it, if a chick has zits or something they probably figure better to cover it up with darker skin/fake tan then little blush lol.Kingsaturn,I agree lol, but there are rare cases of it happening... I mean the hardcore, druggy type sex addicts lol. That can't live without everything concerning sex.   It's nuts lol, when I first read up about it I thought people were exaggerating... "

Yeah, I'm honestly surprised more men aren't sex addicts haha but I've discovered women are just as capable of the same.  
 
Most people aren't that addicted to it. You'll find more drinkers, druggies statistically speaking lol.

There's also the cases of married couples who both enjoy gaming together(rare I know) lol but it does happen here and there. I know a couple who met from xbox live lol.

I actually laughed when I read this.. I'm nothing like your little list. 
I buy coffee once a week (which is counted as drinks, though I am pretty sure you meant alcohol), and a bag of candy or chips every once in a while.    
I have 1 purse, 3 pairs of shoes, I barely shop for new clothes or makeup (only when I really have to), Perfume is usually a gift (if I do buy it, there is no way I'll pay full price). 
I have a 4 year old RAZR not a blackberry and use PayAsYouGo so I almost never text. 
I have never fake baked, had my nails done at a salon or used online dating.

yeah you should make a list referring to a specific kind of man or woman, cause everyone is pretty different. Plus i see you thread is asking us about what we're wasting our money for and not asking us to make a point about yours , so at first my money goes into clothes, (including shoes blabla),art stuff, video games, comics (and books about them), technology.  
About your list, fake tan, fake nails, fake hair, fake face ? delivered with fake brains . Blackberry's? -_-. Junk food/candy..we're kinda grown up now , drinks? for chicks needing to be fckd up to feel interesting. Online dating..is this a joke?
