First of All Oklahoma wasn't even a state until 1907, whoo hoo 100 years baby, and at the time of the Civil war was predominately Native Americans, which I am proud to be part Black Foot. They fought for both sides depending on where they lived in order to survive. So don't quote history until you have a better grasp. Oklahoma, since it was neither a state nor had white men as regular inhabitants other then a few scattered military bases (of originally the Union Army, and later a few of both) did not fight tooth and nail for any thing but the RED MAN. Way to make it about race. (Native Americans by the way have been more persecuted than any race with the exception of Jews. The reason you might not know this, is because most of them are dead)
Also people in every state have called black men then N word so don't blame one state. The French and British were the ones who brought Africans over to America, and were the first to hold slaves in America, so although you have never been called the N word by one, It is them who started slavery and prejudice in America, not Oklahomans. And if what you say about Michigan is true then look how far they've come and how backwards Oklahoma is. Oklahoma is no more backwards than Michigan, you just might not notice it, or be completely ignorant. (actually from what I've seen there are many more problems with race and racists in Detroit than anywhere in OK)
Also I never said some Native Americans didn't have slaves, some did, but some Native Americans were slaves as well, like in Michigan.

But the more you travel around the US the more you will find that the people are very much the smae at this point. People move around so much that it evens things out. Also you will learn every state has backwoods backwards areas. Where as I live in a city home of the University of Oklahoma, which is one of the most liberal racially diverse areas of the state. Oklahoma is not one of the most racially divided states, far from it, but you don't live here so how would you know, some of the suburbs have the highest growing asian populations in the country etc etc etc.

Oklahoma is not one of the most racially divided states, far from it, but you don't live here so how would you know, some of the suburbs have the highest growing asian populations in the country etc etc etc.
What you need to realize is that OKEEES are from the same country as you, hell you were even born here, which makes you an OKEE, so if something happened in your childhood to make you hate this place thats your problem and what you do from here is as well. If you were called a name, how do you even know where that person was form, that person could have been from Michigan and moved to Oklahoma. The whole country had segregation, it wasn't just a south thing.
It is you who live in a fantasy world, Michigan is just as bad if not worse than Oklahoma. And My offer still stands whenever you want to come down and see for yourself.
