What character can a 20 year-old latino dress up as?

I'm having a (very late) Halloween party in two weeks and I'd really like to dress up as a comic-book or cult film character...

The thing is that I'm a brown skinned guy (of Italian descent). I'm 20 years old, approximately 5 feet 9, and have an athletic body. I'm a thin guy but I like hitting the gym and have a pretty broad back. I also sport a weeks-old beard.

I'm genuinely wondering what character I would look good as, since most characters I can think of are either caucasian or african-american. Or tall and bulky, which I definitely am not.

Any ideas?

You can dress up as whoever you wanna dress up as! :) I'm a small white girl, but does that stop me cosplaying as guys? Hell no it doesn't. That's the beauty of make believe, mate :)

I agree, but at the same time, I want my costume to be more cool than funny. The only way to accomplish that (in my narrow-minded opinion, at least) is looking the part...

Jaime Reyes was my first thought from that picture, butttt that costume would be really complicated, and besides its not like you'd see your face under the mask anyway lol.

The good news is that your color would allow you to play a Latino if you wanted, but you could also do like any tan hero.

Heck, Dr. Strange would work if you wanted it to. Just straighten up that hair.

@surfingthehighway: Assuming you're willing to buy stuff online (and if you're not, good luck getting a costume), I found a few possibilities. Try looking around eBay for some more.

@surfingthehighway: Okay, then, two weeks. Doesn't make that much of a difference. Unless you're really creative and good at sewing and alterations there's only so much that can be done with old clothes.

In all honesty, I think I'm seriously leaning towards that Punisher costume, I've got toy guns at home, he's a pretty recognisable character and as long as I don't shave I guess I kinda look the part a little. Thanks a lot Squares, seriously!

If you're really lazy/poor you can go as Alejandro from Heroes. Which will, admittedly, lead to a lot of people saying "What are you dressing as?"
