I have an interest in history, so it is in no way boring to me and yeah is important.

I am not good at maths to be honest. And yeah it is important too of course.

Seems like a bait thread too..

I'm fine with both, but I prefer math to history.

Depends on the level of Math to be honest. Physics level, bores me to death because there's so many formulas, algebra, rearranging formula's, including physical factors such as wind resistance, water resistance etc It all becomes too overwhelming so my mind just begins to ignore the lecturer/tutor/teacher lol.

History, however, you can learn pretty interesting stuff and it doesn't really get as intense like Math does.

I have always liked history better than math. It's easier for me.

#12 Posted by The_Tree (7990 posts) - - Show Bio

I hate math, it's my worst subject.

I love history, though. I find it interesting, and I like learning about real life stories I have little to no knowledge over. It's basically story time but with true events.

Please Math by a landslide. m3th finds history interesting at times. Some interesting "lessons" for m3th were the depression and WWII. WWII was very interesting for m3th. m3th started appreciating history class when m3th learned about WWII.

Math bores me more. was my worst subject in high school.

Math's not too bad, until they start putting letters in it.

#26 Posted by Veshark (9058 posts) - - Show Bio

Definitely Math. I'm not particularly good at it, and there's nothing remotely interesting about numbers and equations.

History at least has some fascinating parts.

#27 Posted by russellmania77 (15861 posts) - - Show Bio

@veshark: I thought u would be really good at math... Because ur so smart

Nope, only good at it up to algebraic functions. Once you hit calculus/physics, I'm gone

I went into biology because I like Science and am fairly mediocre at high level math.

#30 Posted by Bruxae (14008 posts) - - Show Bio

I enjoy both. :D

#31 Posted by JohnnyGat (1580 posts) - - Show Bio

History. As much as more recent history is concerned yeah its boring for the most part but history of times when wars were waged with blades and shields as a kid it was fun to imagine.

#32 Posted by PartialSanity (433 posts) - - Show Bio

History. Math is pretty entertaining.

#33 Posted by Xaos (611 posts) - - Show Bio

Math.

History is like a soap opera made live, with more blood and gore, so it's waaaay more entertaining.

Neither

I don't like Maths, I can add up and that's all you really need for day to day.

#36 Posted by TheTrueBarryAllen (6397 posts) - - Show Bio

I enjoy most subjects, including Math & History.

However I'm worse at math which causes me to become easily flustered or bored with it.

You need both.

Some math, depending on what you're going to do for a living. Link

If you don't know histroy you're doomed to repeat it.

I love History and hate Maths.

Take a guess.

Math.I will always hate that subject and also I don't get almost anything.

While History is one of my favorite subjects and I love studying about it.

#43 Edited by Hel (488 posts) - - Show Bio

Math,dont understand it.

Love history!

#44 Edited by ARMIV2 (8856 posts) - - Show Bio

Math by a long shot for me. I can understand why it is important in life and how it is really essential for some people to really know, but not only does it completely pass over my head, it fills me with severe anxiety and stress.

History on the other hand has so much that can be learned from, pulled from, played upon, and overall enjoyed more. Why are the Assassin's Creed games so great? History and assassins. Why are the Indiana Jones movies so awesome? History and adventure.
The best math got was Math Blaster.

#45 Edited by DoomDoomDoom (4211 posts) - - Show Bio

Math was boring to me in school but once I got out I enjoyed reading about it, mainly chaos theory and a probability theory.

I've always dug history though.

Math by a landslide. You want to know just how boring it was? I basically daydreamed my way through high school and really can't remember anything I learned from a math class.

#49 Posted by BumpyBoo (10744 posts) - - Show Bio

I find both fascinating.
