I've found a new book to read, i bet i'll be stuck with it for at least 10 days. Robert C. Wilson, "Spin".

Plot(wikipedia): Set in the near future, Spin begins with the sudden and mysterious enveloping of the Earth in an artificial membrane that blocks out the sky, including the stars and moon. The membrane selectively filters incoming electromagnetic radiation, blocking out the view of anything beyond minimal low Earth orbit. However, the membrane displays a faux-sun on its inner surface, maintaining a relatively normal day-night cycle for the inhabitants of Earth.

Just finished this one .Great book. Some flaws, but it was a nice reading. If Tim Burton wrote an Harry Potter kind of book, that would have been this one.

Are we really doing this?

Sometimes I think people do these threads not to interact with people but to gain notoriety

This thread wasnt created to gain "notoriety". How kind of you to picture those you dont know as attention-whore.The purpose was to know what people read, and then see if i'm interested in their books, because i'm a good reader(at least 5 "real books" per month apart from comic books). But i give you that i dont want to interact with people here, for the simple reason english is not my mother tongue and i'm not fluent in it. I cant express myself like i want too. And even without that, i'm not really the kind of person lookin for "friends" or "celebrity". It annoys me because i dont wanna do long speeches with people. I'm a member for 2 years and i dont know anyone, and dont talk to anyone and i dont want to. If i was some kind of Kim Kardashian wannabe, you dont think i would have been more noisy ? And you can ask the mods if they can count the threads of a member. I dont think the number of threads created in 2 years by me excess 10, and none of my thread is an attention whore. I dont do stupid threads just to get people.
