We're all Nerds Right??

Okay, so today I was online doing a bunch of crap. Mostly trolling on youtube. :) but something came to mind as I was reading some hate mail I got on youtube after saying Thor could beat Captain America. (because appearantly alot of people on youtube say that Captain America is basically better than everyone else because he has "America" in his name)

Anyways,

He just kept saying how Captain America is the best there is. And here was his exact words.

"Hey, you piece of sh!@ how about I come over and teach you a lesson?! Captain America is the best superhero ever! He can kick Thor's a#$ any day! Don't forget he is worthy to pick up his hammer! All he has to do is smash 'em in the face and Thor's dead! Cap is sooooo strong! He eats Galactus for breakfast!!! Go troll somewhere else you lazy no good !@##@# YOU F@!CKING NERD!!"

...................what?

Here is a rule for some of you. You don't have to be in a outrage just because I gave my opinion. (even though I was trolling lololololol) But after I read the message, I sent a reply saying:

"Um......okay? Of course i'm a nerd!! That's why I troll! NERD NERD NERD NERD NERD NERD NERD NERD NEERRRDDD!!!!!"

And he Replied me back saying: "Ew..."

"Ew"? That's all you have to say is "Ew"? I am positive those who are reading my blog are nerds too right? I bet almost everyone here is a nerd. You watch! Nerds will rule the world!! NERDS RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >:D

How is nerd even an insult now days, they run damn near everything.

Nerds are the ones that make the world go round. They are the ones inventing the technology you use everyday. They discover the things teachers teach you in class..Hell they explain how sports work.

Pfft, nerd, geek.  Whatever.  Like its a prejudiced symbol anymore.  Besides, the ones who call people nerds and geeks are usually themselves as well though are reluctant to admit it.

if anything calling someone a jock should be the insult, nerds end up running fortune 500 companies, where as jocks tend to end up as mall security or janitors

OK they can be the same at times but the main difference is that a geek is someone who has intense passion in something hence having great amounts of knowledge with it. Nerds are geeks of intellectual stuff. Not necessarily academic stuff but definitely things that require a high level of wisdom.

I'm "Nerdy" to the extent of academics and academic interest, as well as cerebral pursuit, but I have some rather niche interests, a la comics, making me somewhat "geeky". Moreover, I'm not (completely :P) socially awkward or underdeveloped.

yes i'm a nerd, a geek or whatever they want to call me.. when was it to wrong to become smart and a form of passion that does not involve hurting others or hurting yourself?

Thats my old life though. Now I am SC. Still, just because I am a bird and you are a nerd, doesn't mean you shouldn't listen to Seal and fly an eagle! #Bird's WOAH = Word of advice homey. Is it sounds like that fella defending Captain America was flirting with you. "Come over and teach you a lesson" sounds pretty explicit to me, so maybe the best defense here is a good offense. Throw up some scans of King Thor killing Cap and denting his shield and then tell that dude after he teaches you a lesson, you'll smash his shield like the hammer of a god. He'll either back off fast or ask if your on Skype. Where you go from there is up to you.

Comics are just another form of entertainment its not nerdy its just looked at as pathetic reading material by those who have never touched any comics in their life as i don't look nerdy at all far from nerdy as no one when they meet me think i like comics video games or any of that but i do its apart of who i am .

I consider myself to be a nerd though I am also other things XD most people tell me I am not a nerd and I am all like how am I not???? I read comics, watch anime, manga, sew, and play videogames O.o
