We all make Mistakes....

The question is.......do we REALLY learn from them?

I'm still alive so I can speak for myself that I have learned.

It remains to be seen.

When you lose, dont lose the lesson.

Either you learn from them, or you risk making the same mistake twice :)

I'm so sick to death on being critiqued as a person for changing my opinion a lot... I'm seriously sick of it. If you think I cant be taken seriously for changing my opinion/rating on a film a lot, I honestly don't give two craps. Because a lot of people change their opinions, so I'm not going to go hard on myself for doing it.

Not at all - generally, I get lots of crap for changing my opinion on films, it's honestly sickening me. No one in specific - I'm tired to hell of it.

Yeah - doesn't make sense at all. Those people who critique me as a person for changing my opinion drastically.... have they never heard of appreciating a film the more you see it? Or your rating for a film dropping when the hype dies down?

I really agree though, not only can your opinion change after repeated watches, but you change as a person too. As time passes your experiences shape who you are, your tastes change. You don't like the same things, or don't like them in the same way. That's just normal!
