Ways to defend humanity from megadisasters.

Propose ideas to save all life from so called Megadisasters, such as Megatsunamis *tsunamis with a wave height of over a hundred feet*, any Meteor to large to burn up in the atmosphere, Supervolcanos *like mt.yellowstone and a few others*, Magma plumes *massive bubbles of magma and molten metal that rise from the inner mantle and outer outer core which Cause Extremely large increases of vulcanism, all of siberia erupted when one came up 250 million years ago and wiped out %95 of all life, compounded with a possible 12km meteor, huge releases of a methane like substance, and a vast increase in hydrogen sulfide producing bacteria*, Superhurricaes *hurricanes with winds of over 250 kph, only possible with underwater supervolcanoes or meteor impact or a really big explosive*, Failure or Reversal of the earth's magnetic field which would allow enormous amounts of energy from the sun and interstellar space to pour in, which would almost instantaneously overwhelm our secondary line of protection, the ozone layer, and in the case of failure, possibly ignite the atmosphere, Gamma ray bursts *basically a concentrated super or hypernova*, a nearby super or hypernova, the passage of a extrasolar star or planet, The passing by of a black hole/neutron star/or white dwarf, the neutron star being due to enter our area of the galaxy soon.  

Very soon in cosmic terms.  And near in a much smaller than cosmic scale, it would pass our solar system or enter it directly, passing would cause the oort cloud and kuiper belt and the scattered disc to go screaming towards us, and would knock the asteroid belt around to join in and cause in a final heavy bombardment of the solar system, as a vast portion of the 1 trillion plus large oort cloud and 1 billion or so large scattered disc, and about the same amount of kuiper belt objects to go hurtling towards the inner and mid solar system *the kuiper, scattered, and oort comet groups are the true outer solar system, the place where the gas giants occupy seems more like the mid solar system to me* which would knock a good deal of the various asteroid belt's material towards the inner solar system, so we get pounded by rocks, chunks of metal, and giant snow balls.  The snow balls being the fastest.  

If it entered the solar system directly, same as above, but also add screwing up the orbits of all the planets as something with twice the gravitational power of the sun waltz in and overpowers the sun's gravity, which could cause say the gas giants to collide with Jupiter and venus & mercury to fall into the sun, and who knows what so much unfusable Iron would do to the sun.  At the very least they would vaporize, or worse yet the large amounts of unfusable matter entering the sun cause it to go red giant early and fry the earth.    Or maybe the Neutron star just eats the sun and the added mass turns it into a black hole which screws up the orbits of the planets more and we freeze to death as no more light reaches us.    What the others would do is obvious. 

So find a way to save the damned planet before we're screwed, and remember this is not an if question, it's a when.

The earth itself won't be destroyed by anything except the neutron star, or the Sun, or falling into a gas giant.   Or venus spontaneously falling out of it's orbit and smashing into the earth at 20 km/s.    Or anything with mass hitting it at the speed of light.  
The others would merely do anything from cause the complete and total collapse of the united states as a country to destroy all life, which are trivial goals in comparison.  It is infinitely harder to destroy our 6 sextillion ton ball of Iron then it is to kill the parasites that live on it *life*.

The volcano would barely scratch the surface of the earth.
