Good. I couldn't stand him.
Same here. I knew he was dead as soon as he said he'd 'rather be dead' in that meeting lol

I haven't been watching since the first episode of season 2. I'm waiting for the DVD.
I'm just kinda apathetic until I can watch it all.
as a huge fan of The Walking Dead I've got to say that I'm really beginning to dislike the way the show is being handled
Hmm didn't catch that. But anyway it'll only be a matter of time before something comes up and Dale wont be there to ruin the 'fun'.@Original_Sin said:

@Deranged Midget:
He was still trying to cling to a way of life that simply could not be lived anymore. Do I think they were right about deciding to kill the kid? No. Dale was actually right about that. I would have mercy killed him back at the bar. But if I did save him, I wouldnt just kill him days later. But, for the most part, Dale was naive and stupid. He tried to hide guns in the forest, he acted like killing Otis is the worst thing possible, he was always going on about morals this and morals that, and he was always in somebody's business trying to act like he's the epitome of justice and morality.
In the end I guess his death was kind of ironically poetic. He tried so hard to maintain a civil lifestyle but to me his death signified that civilization is gone, humans die no better than animals.
@Original_Sin:
Lol I will kind of miss that incredulous stare....
@buttersdaman000: He was clinging to a life and a world that distinguished us from animals and it was obvious that the group lost that connection and he was in pain since he was the only one still hanging on. I don't see anything wrong with that considering what Rick fought so hard to maintain has been so far deviated from.
I'm really disappointed with the way this show is going lately...you can definitely tell the difference between the episodes where Frank Darabont was involved and the episodes after he left....it's quickly turning into just another mediocre zombie themed media piece
@Deranged Midget:
To say that what they contemplated doing would blur the lines between humanity and animals is an over-exaggeration. Dale was making the world out to be black and white, right and wrong. Its not. Its even grayer than it was before the zombies. Killing to survive and protect your own doesnt make you an animal.
The civilization that Dale knew was gone, and he just couldnt accept that.

Yeah....it kind of is. Im hoping it picks up when they leave the farm and meet other characters from the comic book
I agree. It's starting to wander off from the comics.as a huge fan of The Walking Dead I've got to say that I'm really beginning to dislike the way the show is being handled

It's been drifting pretty damn far from the comics for a while now...How Otis went out in the show was the first hint that the show was going in a completely different direction than the comic. But I do like Daryl Dixon.
you mean Shane surviving the camp wasn't a dead give-away?
I can't decide who I hate more: Dale or Carl. Everytime I saw someone wander into the brush alone, I cringed and yelled at my laptop screen. Carl throwing rocks at the zombie, and then getting inches away from it, had me hoping the zombie ate him. I seriously wanna see Carl dead as soon as possible.
Honestly, I was cheering for Dale to be killed all throughout the episode, too. But when it actually happened, I was kinda shocked...Mostly because the way it happened was retarded.
I mean, the walker just sneaks up on him? Is that how walkers do it, don't they snarl as soon as they see a human?
He doesn't hear the walker chomping through the brush in the dead silence of the night? It's not as if they're fucking ninjas.
If you get snuck up on by a walker, you don't deserve to be a zombie hunter. Truestory.
