As an Apple user I get embarrassed by Apple-Fan boys.....

All fanboys are annoying. All of them.

I had no idea that computer/phone/electronic makers had fanboys XD.

Apple by far. They can never admit when google or Microsoft or any type of android is better in any area than they're phone. I don't want to generalize but I've met way too many people who think they're the coolest guy ever because they have an iPhone.

How can it even be denied that it is Apple?

Apple is one of only a few companies in the world that can consistently screw over their customers and never face a significant drop in sales. If any other tech company was caught intentionally slowing down their technology just for the sake of making people buy more, people would drop them. But not Apple. They did just that and a lot of Apple users don't seem to care.

And that's not all. Despite the Google Chromebook being consistently rated as just as good or even better than the Mac, Mac stills sells more, despite costing 3-4 times as much. Apple's brand loyalty is unlike anything else on Earth.

@rabumalal: Android may take a majority in mobile OS market share but their "fanbase" is pretty scattered and divided because Google only owns the OS if my understanding is not wrong. Compared to Apple's dedicated and toxic fanbase that gushed at every Apple product released by Steve Jobs..... Saying Android is cancer is like saying fried chicken is cancer.

In terms of price and performance Apple products are definitely less compelling.

From the Apple fanboys they seemed to be looking at a different thing - usability and the look and feel of the product. Supposedly that was Apple's best selling point.

That's the question. Not necessarily. The brand name is not indicative of quality, and quality depends on different metrics. As far as I understood... KFC's quality is about a particular taste of its chicken (those secret spices BS). Similarly, Apple marketed its products as having better usability and design aesthetics. Doesn't mean it is better per se because seeing the vast majority of people have other preferences.

BTW, generic fried chicken refers to your own home-fried chicken along with the less popular fried chicken restaurants such as Texas, Popeyes, etc.

Pretty sure the first thought you guys had when the word "Google" comes in is the Search Engine.

Google is a lot more than that.

It was the one that introduces the Android operating system, a cheaper counterpart to Apple's iPhone's OS (Whatever hell that is called).

They do now myself included.
