Visually, do you think Lady Gaga is strange?

As a comic book fan and scifi fan... I don't think she and what she wears is all that strange.  And certainly in the crazy "fashion industry couture"  world, she is definitely mainstream. 
 
To me, all her crazy outfits are just been there done that...I've seen Padme Amidala from Star Wars sport stranger things in the movies, and there are plenty of other heroes/villains who look very similar... one that comes to mind is Dazzler from the X-Men, particularly in the Disco uniform with the kiss like make up.  I also remember seeing her sport a bone-like outfit that resembles the espada masks from the anime bleach.
 
So what do other comic fans think?  Nothing new or out of this world? lol

 

I think she is just the new Michael Jackson of music.

I heard on the radio that she was signing autographs and giving pieces of her hair to fans.

for a  non sy fy videos she is very bazzar but i think thats what attracks others like me to her. her music is sexual, and her outfits are crazy and thats what makes it fun to wach. 
 
Is a fan of the lobster hat.

I still believe shes not actualy real, shes is just a figmnet of the wolrds collective imagination. Hence her warped and generally baffling apperance.

She's strange even when you don't look at her appearance. Doesn't mean I don't like her music though.

Here me out when she first came out she was fairly normal with a strange style, was interesting and seemed fun
Now her personality is snobby and boring(every interview she tries to sound so wise and unique comes off B!Tc#y), she's trying too hard to be artistic, and she's just a fame whore

I think she's an excellent musician, fashionista and woman. 
She doesn't shy away from anything:  Her clothing, her bisexuality, her past-relationships etc ...  
 
and anything but a poser. I have seen her in concert and it was an amazing experience, she talked so much about her fans and how much they influence her.  It's beautiful. She is a beautiful person.

I like her strangeness. She makes me wish our society had less social norms about how to act or even dress.

I like her being odd, unique and different from most....however her "unique looks" aren't so new....perhaps to this era of musicians but her look if you really examine it is not doubt influenced by Madonna and Cyndy Lauper if you check out how they dressed at times. It was "kind of out there" lol to say the least with crazy hair, costumes etc... 
 
I like some of her songs, she could be nicer though in public(example giving fans the finger at Yankee Stadium with your shirt open is a bit classless)

Her looks are just a way of pulling attention, which every other artist is doing, so if she wants to be unique she HAS to dress normal now since almost every other female singer is dressing "weird" right now. But her way of acting came from ok, to cool, to strange, to weird and became STUPID.

No, I don't find her strange at all. She is mild to me. I have seen stranger stuff. She is too toned down for me. Goldfrapp is another story.

Have you seen him sing? That guy had talent, he was a real singer. You may like the style or not, that's personal preference, but you can't deny that he was extremely talented. How he reaches the higher notes... amazing. "
