Viking swords. - Off-Topic

I watched a mythbusters special and was shocked to find out that a claymore which made mincemeat out of a Katana which in turn bent a rapier, was severely damaged by a Viking blade. How tough were they? And how could they damage the vicious claymore?

Viking swords are huge, have you never seen a Viking? they were so huge that nothing short of the heaviest blade could be wielded by them and so the Viking sword was born and the claymore met its match...

So would they be able to defeat the dreaded and nigh impossible to use Greatsword?

Viking Swords ? Hmm...interesting. The may have been huge. But how but the speed factor ? How fast are Vikings ? Cause just because you are big dont mean anything. Cause if you are slow, who can you hit ?

Viking blades are extremely strong, though very, very heavy. An uncle of mine collects them, and I could just barely lift most of them, let alone swing them (And I'm no weakling either).
