Obama will be the first sitting US President to go on the show. When? Next Wednesday, 10/27. Thoughts? Discuss!
US President Obama to appear on The Daily Show
" @Vance Astro: LOL. Nah, he's actually complained about Obama on quite a few episodes.Yea..but Obama will actually be there in his face.
LOL. I'm sure Stewart will mess around and ask him a fair share of lighthearted questions. It is first and foremost, a comedic show, after all. But, I can see Stewart asking questions along the lines of "What happened to the change? Where'd the change go? I believed you at first, but now......", that kind of deal.
You ever see the episode of Crossfire he was on? It's really good and hilarious.
" @Vance Astro:LOL I could see him asking those same exact questions.

Also no I don't know what Crossfire is.
" @k4tzm4n said:He was on the Apprentice.He didn't cut BlagojevichWell....he's not a nobody. "
I guess that really doesn't help his case.
" @Vance Astro:Watched...enjoyed.
It was a show on CNN where two sides would go on and debate. It wasn't really debating, but more-so RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!
If you have time, definitely give it a watch."
OMG Stewart just pummeled them!!! LOL!" @Vance Astro:

Stewart isn't very funny, but Obama is a joke, so it may be interesting...
...but I've made plans to paint my toenails during that time slot.

I'll do it for you -Just kidding...but I'm a guy and I'd do my nails instead of watching politician run their mouths...I'd do them permanently" Stewart isn't very funny, but Obama is a joke, so it may be interesting... ...but I've made plans to paint my toenails during that time slot. "
I find the republicans too liberal

I'm rather interested and hoping to for them to take one of those completely un edited longer interviews.
Hopefully Fox doesn't go ballistic and start taking more of what the man says out of context to feed the propaganda machine of hyperpartisan right to throw around mindless crap and bash Stewart at the same time.
But hey that is what Fox does best, promote lies, tear the truth to pieces and call it news that people will eat up without knowing any better.
(I apologize can't resist taking a jab at Faux News, my hate rages far too much against people that can make a rediculously good living off being liars and all around awful people, but hey thats the kind of media Americans loves)

Wrong and Wrong.
On account humor is more so opinion and outside when Barack actually makes jokes I don't see how someone can view him anything about him remotely similair to a joke.
Honestly if he's a joke, then what does that make the average Joe? Who in every respect is likely less talented in various areas and a whole lot less successful. I don't think any person would fair very well on that kind of scale.

Depends on your concept of the stereotype to be honest, to be honest Roxanne comes off as rather tame compared to some of the crazy I've seen from the fright wing on the internets.
Although I guess at least on this site outside trolls she's the one of the few posters leaning that far on the right by comparison to the rest of the community here.

You can always argue that our thoughts aren't are own at all, but we just think they are.
" @Roxanne Starr: LMAO, at the Michelle Obama displacement! "
I was actually thinking of painting my toenails orange, but orange clashes with my pinkish skin tone.
@Vance AstroThat would be a fallacy.

@Hellos:
Hi, Hellos! Haven't run into you in awhile. What do you think would suit me better? Green or orange?

"Good to see Obama going into a TOUGH interview. lmao Sorry OBlunder but your appearance on a COMEDY CHANNEL isn't going to stop Democrats from being OWNED in a few weeks."
And I was hoping you were banned by now.
Oh well, keep up the good trolling friend, your doing your part to scare voters away from the GOP.
Becareful not to play in traffic.

That could be the case.

Entirely depends on the shades of green or orange IMO.
Wow stewart really did own them. Was so glad he called that dude a d!ck. But, I still think it will be really hard for stewart to go after obama right in front of his face.
"
I am sooo over Obama right now. That guy is way too glamorized by the media for his own good. "
Define glamorized.

I don't see why it would.
Stewart likes the President and hasn't had a problem calling out the media on it's lies being told or things being taken completely out of context.
The only excuse for not going for hard questions is because his show is comedy, like he said with those two in 2004, it's not his job when watch Comedy Central.
Although I can imagine that he would try and go for a bit more heavy interview with him because the President will be with him and see it as his responsibility to do that.
I just might be over analyzing this entirely considering the inner workings of a lot of people's minds are unseen.
" @Vance Astro:right off the bat he looked like he didn't want to have anything to do with that show

"right off the bat he looked like he didn't want to have anything to do with that show "
John Stewart is probably one of the reasons it got killed off to begin with.
He went there and essentially begs them to have a word with them while the man in the bow tie demands Stewart to be funny like he is on his show, instead he came there fairly serious.
" @The Dark Huntress: So wait are you agreeing with me or are you saying you do think he is? "He was always all about left wing politics. Yawn. But he does it in a very boring way. Colbert gets it...Steward doesn't.
So, now it is over? What did you guys think? I just started it now. But, I am curious how people thought Stewart was.
