Huh.

I... I don't know what to say, to be honest. This is both really dumb and really smart.

Take that Russian Spetsnaz.

It's nice to see the military has so much time and money to waste, I'm sure they'd be able to help out at a moments notice if a hurricane were to devastate multiple cities, though.

Well better safe than sorry I suppose. Also kinda eerie as Homeland Security has similar protocols as well.

Maybe I should take the zombie apocalypse more seriously...

They are not really training for Zombies...................Just Civil Unrest.

So, the free thinking and expressive man is the new zombie? Who would have thought......

They do "Zombie" drills in place of other natural disasters or civil unrest. Doing the same drills over and over get boring, take it from someone who spent four years underwater launching nuclear missiles at the same phony "rogue" nation.

Also the Pentagon has multiple alien invasion plans... so training for a zombie apocalypse isn't that far fetched for them.

Each article is an example of the U.S. Military giving aid to American, Haitians, and Japanese. Calm down with the accusations unless you actually know anything about the military.

My mistake, I didn't know that preparing for a make believe zombie attack is more important than human lives. Again, they're wasting money and man power on this joke. Go ahead, post more articles of other military members helping, why aren't these?

@Mr_Ingenuity: I'm only a little sorry.

@Xanni15: Supposedly they are doing this to prepare for a chemical disaster or a riot and stuff like that. Not sure I buy that but the military does send aid to places that need it most of the time.

I understand they do, I never said they didn't. I'm just curious why resources and man power would be used on something like this right now when there are people struggling due to the hurricane? Going by the article it wasn't called off.

@Xanni15: We have gotten a lot of support for the hurricane. The whole rescue service/military doesn't need to be here for them to be able to do a good job. Besides they do need to save personal in case there is another disaster. That being said, this is a huge waste of money lol.

The irony of our culture's zombie obsession is the fact that nearly all of our "knowledge" and impressions come from George Romero's ideas. No one would talk about a zombie apocalypse for not his films and other like them.
