Underworld Movies & Resident Evil Games being rebooted..

So apparently another day in the rebooting news lol. Underworld I must say way too early and why? All I have to say...

RE initially I was like, huh? Then I was like well Capcom isn't exactly booming these days with games so maybe they figure hey it worked for MK, so why not?

I like Underworld. I'm fine with reboot. The actors are getting old.

I'm not exactly putting Underwold on a pedistal though. The first one was good, the second one...okay, both Rise of the Lycans and Awakening were bad imo. To me, Underwold is Twilight for guys. Replace hot guys with Kate Beckinsale in leather, romance with violence and a romantic forest with a dark city and boom, Twilight for guys.

Finally the resident evil is getting a reboot..

This is the sole movie i had in mind that definitely deserves a reboot.

@the_stegman: Yeah, i mean it will have the robocop effect. Itll be a fresher take, prob more cgi but wont be as good as the first original.

Personally, I liked the first three the most. Mostly the first though. Uw however has alot less drama then twilight. I have always seen twilight as a soap opera with ww and vampires. Underworld the batman like gothic setting million times darker then twilight.

Besides, wouldnt you do it with kate beckinsale? :-P

Really? They are rebooting Underworld? That's weird, they need to just make a sequel to the last one where Selene realized Michael had been unfrozen or is free.

As for Resident Evil, im excited if they are being released for next generation. I would love to play RE1,2, and 3 on PS4.

I loved Underworld so I'm just happy to see more films.

And I didn't get RE was being rebooted, but they are just remaking the first one again in a more modern fashion, not that they are restarting the whole series.

Resident Evil should never have been made into movies in the first place so I can't say I agree about this.

I'm all for an underworld reboot, first one was enjoyable for a b-flick. Second one was absolutely terrible and the last three were... well let's leave them, at that.

That said, the Underworld series has plenty of potential of actually being awesome. So I'm all for them giving it a new go if they actually put some effort into it. Bill Nighy has to return and not get his ass handed to him in two seconds and Kate Bekingsale is cool in the movie. I'm all for her returning. Really the problem has always been execution, not set up.
