Well from a personal standpoint, it isn't particularly healthy, but then there's nothing wrong with treating yourself here and there. I wouldn't tell anyone to stop eating it though, it's about personal choice really.

Blade Runner is fantastic, and so is Total Recall :)

From what I can remember Scanner Darkly was one of the more accurate adaptations, wasn't it? Minority Report kind of annoyed me because from what I can remember it felt like it had been changed into a very different story with a more preachy message.

Total Recall is cool, not exactly based on any one PKD story but feels like a combination of his ideas and gets his clever/quirky tone down (even if it has Arnie in it acting over the top as usual he's still very watchable and doesn't distract from the plot). I'm a fan of Verhoeven movies in general though, Verhoeven/PKD is an odd combination you wouldn't think would work but happily does.

Favourite video game?

Would you rather do geography test for 85 hours in a week or eat nothing but your least favourite food and drink your least favourite drinks for a week?

Why do you like Nemi?

Why do you like Scream Queen?

It really was, very faithful to the book. I loved the rotoscoping technique in that too, really emphasized the characters' detachment from reality. I agree about Minority Report too, thought they were a little too heavy handed with pushing it as a morality tale. While PKD's stories definitely could fit into that category, he had subtlety and I felt some of the complexities of his original stories are lost on screen.

I so agree with you about Total Recall too, loved that film as an Arnie picture before I ever read any of PKD's books. I thought they pulled it off brilliantly :)

To be honest I've never liked him. I tolerate him in the Uncivil War vids he does with Yahtzee but otherwise have no time for him.

Not very often no, I tend to watch things at home.

Yep, it was Dark Souls. Just moved on to Assassin's Creed 2.

It was The Dark Tower: The Prisoner #3.

The second one, eating and drinking gross things doesn't really phase me and I HATE geography ;)

I find her really funny, and highly relatable.

Scream Queen is the person I wish I was. She's strong, confident, and can take care of herself.

There are some interesting aspects but for the most part I just find the subject incredibly boring :)

It's always been my favourite, I think it contains some of his best writing. Really beautiful work.

I have mixed feelings about Merchant, it's good but unfortunately reading it reminds me of school, and I just found it less entertaining than the others I have read.

Hours. Many many hours.

Rogue. I like the idea of having a more fluid and changeable power set.

People and senators, be not affrighted.Fly not. Stand still. Ambition’s debt is paid!

No such thing as a boring wiki question, in this thread at least ^_^

I do own quite a few, my mum passed her love of those onto me really. Mandy, Twinkle, Bunty, Debbie. It's a mix, some I have already, some I could only find online scans of.

I love them personally, partly because they are from a very different time and that is SO evident when you read them. Here is a classic example of what I mean:

Oh gosh I would not want the pressure! I don't think I would be a very popular PM, to be honest. I don't fit neatly with the manifesto of any one party and have an ingrained resentment toward the ruling classes >_>

Get rid of them.

Pffft, what wouldn't I do? It would be a glorious thing, I like to think I would use the powers to benefit other people, and mostly I would but...but also I could not be trusted with powers like those. Not at all. I got a mean vengeful streak >:)

Ever?? Scare Tactics.

It's cheesy, but my answer to this is always next year.

And Cassius too.

Someone else's? Kisses and lots of fusses. For your own? I find ice makes it sting more but a nice hot water bottle on the affected area and a warm brandy take the edge off :)

Invisibility.

No not at all. I try very hard to be a good person. I won't lie though, sometimes it is,or at least feels, against my nature.

No. I have a respect for my country and its history, but it is pretty much an uncontrollable coincidence I was born here.

The atmosphere, the story, everything. I even went so far as to recreate the apartment on the Sims.

Here, quite confounded with this mutiny.

It's a country I've been attracted to since I was a kid really.

Well I don't fancy either but if I had to choose, Christian.

Stalinism.

Gaddafi's Libya.

As I've said elsewhere in this thread, I used to lurk a lot looking at hero powers and stats, I was editing a game at the time. The reason I joined though is I noticed that a lot of Scare Tactics characters had virtually no info here, so I created an account with the intention of filling in the blanks :)

Do so: and let no man abide this deed, but we the doers.

Oooh that is a tough question, there are so many. I'll give that one some more thought, I don't wanna say Nemi for the hundredth time ;)

Ever?? I can't narrow it down to just one. Spaced, Brass Eye, South Park, Six Feet Under. Agh and am already thinking of so many others I could have said XD

Joker.

Syria.

East Germany.

@bumpyboo: least favorite question?

That's a good question, but I am very reluctant to answer. If I say, someone might ask it O_O

What anime have you seen?

Film-wise, quite a lot. Series-wise, hardly any really other than Death Note and Humanoid Monster Bem. Am very much looking for recommendations, if you have any?

@bumpyboo: Mind if I recommend some anime?

I said that Code Geass is one of my top three - the other two are Gurren Lagann and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I also usually give Kill la Kill an honorable mention (maybe I should just expand it to my top four).

Sure. Here are some of my favorite:

  • Code Geass
  • Hellsing Ultimate
  • FMA: Brotherhood

I enjoy Kill la Kill and Attack on Titan, as well; not sure if I want to consider those my favorite yet, but they're worth a shot - especially Kill la Kill.
