In UFC 131 tonight (6-11-11) heavyweights Junior Dos Santos and Shane Carwin (stepping in as an alternate due to Brock Lesnar pulling out) will fight a 3 round bout with the winner earning a shot at the UFC Heavyweight title against champion Cain Velasquez.

hhmm tough one i think dos santos might just take it due to him being a faster striker and this should be a good brawl.

I think Carwin will win if it turns into a brawl. Carwin's punching power is second to none and he will catch Dos Santos if Dos Santos decides to stand and trade punches.

Dos Santos will have a better chance to try and get inside, strike and get out before Carwin can counter which may wear Carwin down enough for Dos Santos to beat him.
