I hope there isn't a thread like this in CV.

So, Let's talk about TV. What shows are you currently watch and which ones are your favorite? What are your favorite shows of all-time?

The shows I'm watching right now are Hannibal(Best New show), Arrow (very enjoyable), Homeland(Awesome), The Americans(Very Underrated), Walking Dead(Obviously), Parks and Recreation(My favorite Comedy show), Louie(Genius), Community(Last season was average, older seasons were awesome), Dexter(earlier seasons were the best, but still good), American Horror Story (Crazy stuff), Misfits( It's a UK series. WATCH IT if you love comics) Game of Thrones(Just finished watching Season 1 last night, Just WOW), and lastly... Breaking Bad (Greatest show I've ever watched)

Some of my all time favorites are Lost, Seinfeld, South Park, Prison Break, The Wire, King of the Hill,Monk, and Whose Line is it Anyway?

Breaking Bad- Awesome, best show to come on television in the past decade.

Game of Thrones- Amazing, every episode gets my undivided attention.

Boardwalk Empire- Not completely caught up yet, but so far it's great.

Dexter- It's a killer.

Once Upon A Time- It's pretty charming, but also very whitebread.

The Walking Dead- Slow at times, but otherwise very good.

Arrow- eh...it has its moments

The Vampire Diaries- Is getting really annoying, really fast, might drop soon.

The Office- Not the same since Michael left, a las, the end is near.

Misfits- ....blah

Bates Motel- A lot better than I thought it would be.

Supernatural- It's run its course, but it still has good moments

Favorite Show of all Time:

Seinfeld, a work of genius.

dont really know how to explain it, a gypsie moves in to town, he happens to be a werewolf, at the same time he moves to town another werewolf begins killing people there, he befriends a "upyr" some kind of vampire and the two of them try to track it down.

@dh69: I watched it too. I thought the basic premise was ok, but the plot was contrived. Did you watch every episode?

yeah, and sadly I'll probably be back if they make a second season

Doctor Who, first & foremost. And for completeness sake I'll say St. Elsewhere because something like 40% of all shows take place in the St. Elsewhere universe.

Arrow The Walking Dead and Supernatural are the only shows I'm watching. Have to finish up season four of Breaking Bad before the series ends and I've got to start watching Game of Thrones.

I just have to say how much I hate not having HBO\Showtime. So many quality shows and I have to wait for DVD releases. Guess its also too much to ask for Itunes season passes.

There's this thing called the internet, where you can watch shows for free...not that I'm soliciting such things..cause that would be wrong.

#41 Posted by The Stegman (25035 posts) - - Show Bio

@madeinbangladesh: GoT is great..but sometimes the sex does bother me, not because I'm a prude, but because it feels like they add it just to have it, and taking away from the plotlines of the other stories. For instance, remember when Theon was being tortured three episodes ago and they bring in the naked ladies...do we really need them? We know he's being totured, the girls are just fan service and a waste of five minutes..plus, I find it hard to believe that a man who has just had his finger bone pulled out would care about sex, no matter how horny he is.

man you have to watch the shows from the beggining. I never watch a drama show from the middle. There are many places you can watch shows from the beggining. Just search them on google. You are missing the complete experience. I watched Lost from the beginning to the end over a month. it was amazing

I keep hearing the same theme song "How it Ends" that played when (latest season spoilers)Curtis had his last phone call with Rudy and then killed his zombie-ass on Misfits.... On some commercial that constantly reruns on tv. Each time, it emotionally touches me to some degree and I immediately think Misfits.

I think it affects me because it was the end of the actual ASBO 5, end of Curtis's rather sad story(in the episode and his entire run), and end of the last link to the original cast that actually made the show so brilliant. I think I can count on my hands theme songs that I've built up a serious emotional association with--Community theme song makes me happy and warm and fuzzy, Suits theme song makes me feel like the classiest dude alive, and that theme song from that scene makes me feel melancholy. Damn, I'm listening to Adele now. -_-

On another note, I consider Nathan Young from Misfits the funniest tv character that has ever been created. And I consider Alisha's bottle scene one of the craziest(in a good way) tv scenes of all time. Lol

Nathan Young and Jeff Winger are my top 2 funniest tv characters of all time.

@madeinbangladesh:

Yeah, I've looked up Walking Dead and True Blood to find out about what I've missed in those seasons. Dexter I have not though.

I've never planned on watching any of those shows because I'm not much of a TV person. Most of them, I just ran up on an episode of theirs. True Blood, I woke up one night and it was on my T.V, so I watched it. It was the episode of season two were they killed Maryann. After watching the episode I became interested in the show, so I went on demand and re-watched the whole season.
