I keep having this nagging thought that they're going to make it so Christian Slater's character Mr Robot a figment of the main character's mind.
Anyone else think it's a possibility?
Yeah I think it's pretty obvious. I would actually be really surprised if this wasn't the case.
How he push off a ledge on the show ?
Elliot "jumped"
@buttersdaman000: really ?
@buttersdaman000: really ?
Yeah, it's what I think.
Mr. Robot is just a figure of Elliots imagination and when he was sitting on that ledge he was actually having a conversation between his waking self and the part of him that felt guilty over seemingly betraying his dad. We already know that he's extremely fragile emotionally, so in that split second before he fell, his Mr. Robot side won out and "pushed" Elliot over the ledge as punishment.
Just look at all the interactions Mr. Robot has had with the other cast members. Most of the time it's just him and Elliot together, but when they're both in a group with other people only one garners attention while the other fades into the background.
I also think that the other members of Fsociety know that Elliot has a duel persona.
@buttersdaman000: like fight club.

Kind of but I could be wrong
@buttersdaman000: like fight club.
Yeah after the theory came to me I noticed the similarities to Fight Club. They should pull back a little. It was pretty early on I started thinking it. Like first episode.
You watch too much TV, Dern. ;)
@masterkungfu: It's ok.
