Trailer for J.J. Abram's 'Revolution'!
@Illuminatus: First and foremost, I feel obligated to say I thought about Breaking Bad (Giancarlo Esposito) and Mass Effect 2 (the same music used for the trailer) for a good chunk of the trailer. Just have to get that out of the way.
I like the premise (and the immediate impact of the EMP definitely kept my eyes glued), but nothing beyond that (the characters, the dialogue, the final twist) truly pulled me in and made me feel like this is something I absolutely need to see when it finally lands. Although, I've gotta confess that the choreography during that action sequence was pretty solid for a TV show.
Will I check this out when it airs? Yes. I like Jon Favreau (the mediocre Cowboys & Aliens aside) and, while producing doesn't really play a significant role most of the time, it's tough to not let J.J. Abrams's involvement catch one's interest (but Alcatraz was so full of 'meh'). As of right now, I can't say that I feel strongly one way or another about it.
I can't quite say why, but there's nothing more depressing than watching an airplane fall out of the sky.
Some jibber-jabber-voodoo nonsense about man's ingenuity meaning squat.
Yeah because you know books don't exist or anything. These world ending movies and tv shows are starting to get really old.
