Title is simple enough, yeah? When reflecting on your earlier years, what films did you absolutely adore?
- Jurassic Park
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- Star Wars
- Starship Troopers
- Predator
@deranged_midget: T2 would definitely be #6 for me. When it comes to classic Disney, my fave. is Beauty and the Beast. Take that, Simba.
1. Transformers the animated movie.
2. Empire Strikes Back
3. Nightmare on Elm Street
4. Robo Cop
5. Boys in the Hood
@k4tzm4n: YOU MONSTER! :O
1. Superman
2. Superman II
3. Superman III
4. Superman IV

@dabee: yup.
@dabee: I wish...
@citizenbane: Haha, Space Jam and Rush Hour. Excellent choices!
@deranged_midget: Thanks :) I still maintain that the first Rush Hour is the greatest movie ever made, Scorsese be damned.
Back to the Future- A charming movie.
Fast Times at Ridgemont High- This is a wild and crazy film.
Dazed and Confused- Great film.
Star Wars- Legendary.
The Karate Kid- "Sweep the Leg".
And many more.
Cant believe I forgot that one.

I would have a hard time arguing that point ;) Jackie and Chris had fantastic chemistry together! The action and the humour can't be replicated!
Although, I still greatly enjoyed the second and third film!
It's hard to narrow it down to just 5 films. I devoured movies as a kid but these were the ones that I watched so many times I remember breaking the VHS/Betamax tapes (when the tape would unravel/tangle in the machine). I still have the VHS tapes of Warriors of the Wind (Nausicaa), The Last Unicorn, and Transformers actually. Those three films were so major as a kid...they flipped my world around. And they've held up to time. Still great films today.
Back to the Future- A charming movie. AWESOME!
Fast Times at Ridgemont High- This is a wild and crazy film. Never seen it.
Dazed and Confused- Great film. I hate this movie, my sister in law made me watch it. its not funny, its not clever, and there's absolutely no plot. what's the point?
Star Wars- Legendary. your right about this
The Karate Kid- "Sweep the Leg". I like this movie

12 years-old when Starship Troopers came out and I watched Predator on VHS.
1. Ghost Busters: "Are you the Gate Keeper?"
2. The Blues Brothers: "We're on a mission from God." ( Back when I was still my daddies little girl.)
3. The Princess Bride: "As you wish."
4. Labyrinth: "Nothing!... Nothing... Tra la la."
5. The Dark Crystal: "Ya look like Gelfling... Smell like Gelfling... Maybe ya are Galfling!"

Ah okay. I imagined you as an awesome 7 year old watching those films xD

My dad let me watch American Werewolf in London when I was like 6
Ugh... Man, that gave me nightmares when I first watched it...

Star Wars (1977)
Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi
Raiders of the Lost Ark
King Kong (1978)
Conan the Barbarian (1982) gets an honorable mention
I am sure I am overlooking others it was such a long time ago...
and apparently in a galaxy far away......
@deranged_midget: When it comes to classic Disney, my fave. is Beauty and the Beast. Take that, Simba.
^__^ Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie. =D That and the old Alice In Wonderland. ^__^ Always forget about the sequel to Beauty and the Beast but I can relate to this song a lot from it;
@deranged_midget: @yourneighborhoodcomicgeek: I wasn't really frightened but I do think the werewolf Nazi thing warped me, also it was the first time I ever saw boobs in a movie
@joshmightbe: I bet that was the breast part of the movie.
@yourneighborhoodcomicgeek: Well I was 6 and wasn't sure what boobs were for yet so honestly the werewolf was a way bigger draw
@joshmightbe: Ah, I see. I probably would have discarded breasts if I saw them at a young age. I saw RoboCop when I was young and I didn't even remember seeing boobies until I re-watched it a few years ago.

Someone read a Cracked article today.

@cattlebattle: More like months ago, and I think I read Buzzfeed's one. Doesn't make the point any less valid or funny.
Forgive me, I'll be sure to cite the source of every little bit of information I've obtained from elsewhere from now on.

@yourneighborhoodcomicgeek: I grew up with R rated 80s movies so I was pretty desensitized to boobs by the time I was old enough to enjoy them properly
@greenfuse: nice list, we must be around the same age. :P
@joshmightbe: I understand where you're coming from. I think my simplistic brain just disregarded that as something common in movies...although I wasn't wrong...
The Sixth Man (First movie I ever saw in theaters... Don't know why, I was three)
Lion King
Rugrats in Paris
Jurassic Park
T2
1. Spiderman Trilogy
2. Iron Man
3. Digimon/Pokemon/Yu Gi Oh/DBZ Movies
4. Toy Story Trilogy
5. Alien(s)
(all that I can think of right now)
2. The Adventures of Robin Hood
3. Davy Crockett and the River Pirates
I'm not that old. I turned 30 later last year. After looking at the above list, I now realize that my childhood kind of sucked and it's probably why I'm still reading comics.
