Thoughts on Ron Paul?

I was wondering what you all thought of Ron Paul. I am kinda liking him. He seems a little like the government reset button to me. Any thoughts?

1. I just saved a bunch of money by switching to Ron Paul.
2. Dr. Ron Paul delivered Chuck Norris.
3. Ron Paul’s tears can shrink government. Too bad he never cries
4. Studies by the World Health Organization show that Ron Paul is the leading cause of freedom among men.

7. Jesus wears a wrist band that says “What Would Ron Paul Do?”
8. Ron Paul doesn’t go to the gym. He stays fit by exercising his civil rights.
9. Ron Paul delivers babies without his hands. He simply reads them the Bill of Rights and they crawl out in anticipation of freedom
10. Ron Paul wasn’t born, he liberated himself from the womb.
11. Ron Paul’s idea of Gun Control is both hands on the weapon.

13. The Chicken crossed the road to vote for Ron Paul.

Seems ok but his wanting to get our troops out of every country we're in is naive.

I can't decide if Ron Paul is really the man for the job or if he just appears to be because everyone else is obviously not.

Yes, you're probably right.

I do think he's the best candidate running, though.

I think that out of the candidates, he's my current choice. He's the one making the most sense, and the fool in me wants to believe him.

I agree with Paul on some of his positions (for instance, I believe the "War on Drugs" is a massive waste of time and money), but he doesn't believe prayer in public school should be prohibited and introduced the We the People Act(essentially, he doesn't support the separation of church and state). He is also a creationist and is rabidly pro-life (opposing abortion in all forms). Not my candidate.

You may be surprised how many politicians (Democrat and Republican) don't believe in evolution, one of the many reasons I've lost hope in American politics.

What does conspiracy have to do with liking a candidate? I am not one but believe our system has been corrupted by money. Why do we get bills like the pizza is a veggie one? Because the frozen food lobbyists pay to play. So far Ron Paul says he isn't someone who works that way but who knows. Obama isn't the person he platformed as either.

@gravitypress: What I'm doing here is making fun of the guy who is surrounded by scumbags who are pretty much bought out by the system. Can he make it better by any chance,I don't think so since he's making many promises like his predecessor. Than again most people just projected their veiws on to him anyway. Most of the people that will vote for him are hardcore conspiracy theorist or people who are so fustrated on whats going on believe he will get rid of the bums in office, but not really. I'm sick of people telling me to vote for Ron Paul without a second thought as if he's the return of christ whom will lead us to the promise land or that he isn' t bought out politican because he doesn't attended a secret meeting in sweeden or something. I honestly don't really care anymore on what happens with the world, you reap what you sow.

I never watched VH1 much, but a number of my friends thought the show was pretty entertaining, so...oh wait, I'm thinking of RuPaul.

I've been a fan of Ron Paul for years. That said I do disagree with him on a number of issues. The thing i love about Ron Paul is that he makes a lot of logical points and says things that are true, but other politicians are afraid to say. Unfortunately he does have some squirrely ideas, and some of these take away from his validity as a true contender.

He is great because he will speak the truth, and not worry as much about having the "traditional" conservative views....sadly that is why he will not get the nomination.....

I'm a Democrat, lol. I don't think he's as insane as the rest of them though.

ts, Republicans. SIlly lines drawn that make people think they have to behave a certain way politically. Think for yourself, parties mean nothing.
