From an actual comic, and I find it very poignant. Its definitely sad, thats sort of the point, maybe thats me though, i like when comics doesn't try to give me the happy story. This is probably my favorite Spidey story thinking about it.

It was kind of creepy how she was sleeping with all those pictures of spider-man.But this is pretty sad though.

There was actually an episode similar to this in TAS.

That's pretty sad. What artist is this and what series is this from?

#10 Posted by Delphic (1468 posts) - - Show Bio

This is one of those times when comics do something that is extremely beautiful. I've seen something like this I think only one other time in All-Star Superman

Was it that one episode where spider-man explained how his web shooters work to that little girl in her room?

Well as far as I know, Stephen Wacker is the editor for most spider-man comics, so yeah it's legit (and depressing)

Excellent, deeply moving, simple story. The epitome of what superhero comics can convey. I have it saved to my image folder. I have no idea if it was in a comic or not though the art is certainly on the comic book level.

Oh shame really I thought this was some fan art.

That makes me think of Spectacular Spiderman #22 where he found one of his old villains, Mind Worm, living on the street as a homeless man. He does not do anything the first time he sees him, and when he comes back the second time Mind Worm is attacked by street thugs and dies

Issue #14 Spectacular contains a story told from the perspective of a boy with Cerebral palsy. I really cannot adequately sum up reading that issue properly I suggest you read it on marvel digital or buy it.
