They are basically the same guy..the Undertaker is just the original.
@Jake Fury: Kane's story was actually pretty straightforward up until the writers ditched his mask and went with the whole 'the scars were psychological and all in Kane's mind and not actual burns' angle, despite the fact that there were already scenes of people backing away in terror when seeing him with his mask off. I swear it's like the writers think we're stupid. They even tried to pull that Kane wore a wig even though his mask has been ripped off quite a few times and we've seen his hair still intact.

That's true. You know they hired a guy once to keep track of histories and such and ended up firing him.
