I read last months issue of The Source and came across this list. Been wanting to make this earlier, but I just remembered it. The list is as follows.

From my perspective, Lauryn Hill (who is primarily an R&B singer, why is she so high up, anyway?) and Rick Ross shouldn't be on the list. It makes no sense that Ross is higher than Styles, Royce (especially him), and Lupe Fiasco. All of them are several times better than he is. Queen Latifah shouldn't be on the list, either. I'd put Foxy Brown, MC Lyte or Remy Ma on the list before her. Lil' Wayne should be lower. Fab and Luda should be higher than T.I. The top six are legit, but in a different order for me (Rakim, Biggie, Nas, Tupac, Jay-Z, Eminem). That's just based on lyrics. Nothing extra.
