What are the saddest moments you have ever had the displeasure to experience.

#2 Posted by lilben42 (2544 posts) - - Show Bio

I didn't cry or anything but it was a dramatic moment.

The Green Mile movie (John Coffey moment.. those who've seen it will know it :( )

Up, the intro.... gah, that's a tear jerker.......

Actually, a lot of moments >_> I'm a softy when it comes to those things.

I cried so much. :'(

There haven't so many moments that can make me cry but the aftermath of Lori's death in the Season 3 of TWD almost made me cry. Also in the end of episode 15 when Daryl saw Merle.

Till this day, no matter how many times I watch it....always gets to me. Sure it's a sitcom, but this is some fine acting here.

The saddest moments for me were:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Body: When Buffy's mom, Joyce, suddenly dies and everyone, especially Buffy and Dawn were very upset about it. But the moment that really killed me was when Anya was trying to understand what was going on and she started this fantastic speech about how she couldn't understand death.

The Lion King - Mufasa's Death: This moment really hit me because imagine being a young child and your parent suddenly dies and you're wondering how you would survive without your parent being by your side.

Seriously though...

  • Adam Sandler's death in Click was heart-wrenching. Already being on his deathbed while sprinting out in the pouring rain with only minutes left, hoping to save his son from making the same mistakes he once did, and falling on the ground, screaming his name... DEM FEELZ!
  • Marley and Me- I think this one is self-explanatory folks...

Obviously the saddest of them all.

The How I Met Your Mother episodes with Marshall and Barney's dads get me every time.

I can't watch "Goodbye, Michael" without tearing up.

And It's Kind of a Funny Story always brings the feels.

So did I. Just the pure emotion throughout that episode, and the fact that I lost my father under the same circumstances made it incredibly touching.

This one from Batman, Incorporated #9 got me.

The top two spots go to Buffy.

Yeah firstly, Joyce's Death. Painstakingly realistic and traumatic.

Secondly, when Buffy kills Angel to save the World.

I know you said from TV, Comics, and Movies but for me the only time I ever shed tears for a fictional character was the ending the first season of the Walking Dead games by Telltale.

And Syfy's Being Human when Aidan had to kill Bernie was one of my favorites. Sam Witwer carried the followed scene really well.
