Oh yeah it is slow. The show can be quite sporadic, moving from quick plot progression to slow, purely character focused episodes week after week, and frankly, I like it. The show isn't afraid to move at its own pace and lets you know from the start. IMO, they actually shield themselves from criticisms like the ones that plagued season 2 of The Walking Dead with their established pacing.
I started this show up again about a month ago,and started season 1 and finished last night's episode. Show is amazing,and well acted.
@rogueshadow: Tonight was a great season finale and I can't wait for season 3. I don't know how I'm going to wait a year for such an amazing show to return.
