The New Religion Thread (Create your own Theology)

Alright, boys and girls, let's see what you got. I'll have one up at some point today, so let's see yours first.

RULES

• Keep it clean. We don't want this locked.
• You can create more than one religion, but keep it to one per post.
• Don't blow up the planet. Seriously, we need it.

What is this? I really don't get it

My church only has one purpose; the complete and utter annihilation of all bacon via consumption.

He's asking us to create a religion. Create doctrines, rules, laws, philosophies, mitology etc, and name it.

My Religion would be one of peace. We'd believe in an all powerful God who's existence there is no evidence for and all logic suggests doesn't exist, but we'd believe anyway. We'll make outrageous claims that we have no right to make but it's all gravy cos I've got an old looking book with no author and my God told me it's his word.

We'd force our beliefs on everyone because we don't want our all caring God to send them to an eternity of torture when they die. On the other hand we'll get angry and aggressive against anyone who (rightfully) opposes or mocks our beliefs.

We'd also behead all non believers but remember, it's a religion of peace.

The religion would be called "The Intelligent Designer and Incredibly Obedient Theists of the Saviour" or "The Idiots", convert today or burn in hell you heathen scum.

This makes sense, because true peace can only be achieved through your God, so as long as there are people not believing in your God, there will be no peace.

I would use comics, animes, mangas and novels to create many religions.

For example, what about a religion based on Dragon Ball theology, or HP. Lovecraft theology, and what about Haruhiism.

As for the characters not been shown in our real live universe to us, I can always give any sort of ad hoc explanation for that, from they haven't been in our planet but there somewhere else in our universe, or outside of it and there is a multiverse, just like with Zen-oh sama.

I can as well take any other god or god-like entity, like TOOA, Kami Tenshi, Elder God Demon Bane, etc...

I don't know that I fundamentally believe in the idea of religion, which is interesting given that I do have a belief in God.
