@spambot: @shazam117: @marshall_long: @king_saturn: @kgb725: Look at Gary Payton's face after play #1. PRICELESS.
The NBA Thread
Jason Williams was Nice... White Chocolate had crazy handles... Gary Payton got Played... I guess The Glove had a Hole in it that night.
@pooty: Funny how him and Gary both won their championship with the Miami Heat.
Jason Williams was the Starter over Gary Payton in Miami as well... that 2005 - 06 Heat team had Antoine Walker, Dwyane Wade, Gary Payton, Jason Williams, Shaquelle O' Neal... pretty good lineup.
@marshall_long: @king_saturn: @kgb725: @spambot: Y'all probably already seen this dude but it was funny to me!!
Anyone think that the Warriors will sweep the Rockets?
If Curry is healthy? They win every game by 15+.
@deronn_solo: He's questionable for Game 2.
@erikarlsson: Of course. I see a sweep all the way up to the Spurs, if the Clippers win their series, I could see them winning a game.
@king_saturn: That's because the NBA is so unbalanced these days.
@king_saturn: one of my all time favorites. Best spin move I've ever seen.
Seems like this thread died down a bit. At this stage all I can do is just wait and see how everything plays out. Both my teams were in the lottery lol
Klay Thompson really saved Golden State in this series against the Thunder... his crazy shooting lit the fire the Warriors needed... it didn't help the Thunder either that Durant and Westbrook shot like Poo Poo in the 4th Qtr either though.
NO....Thunder why choke like that. You guys were five minutes away from going to the NBA Finals. C'mon KD and Russ! You guys can't choke like that. Thunder UP!!!
It's frustrating as a KD fan to see him choke up games like he did last night....
If the Thunder don't win Game 7... then Kevin Durant may have solidified himself as this era's version of Karl Malone.
:P
No way warriors are losing game 7 at home. OKC choked badly, they were so close. Westbrook plays like a madman (in a good way) and KD is an offensive monster but something just isn't right with those two in OKC. They never seem capable of getting it done. They lose their way under pressure and play badly.
I think Cavs might win it all this year, they impressed me the most, plus LeBron is playing the best right now.
@dboyrules2011: i totally want this to happen
. only problem is golden state
if they dont make it to the finals the cavs gonna take it this year
@modsbehating: I believe Cleveland can beat Golden State.

Yeeeeeah, but shaddup, tho. :P
I don't think Cleveland is going to beat the Warriors 4 times, but I could be wrong. I am going to love seeing Green/Love, Irving/Curry, Smith/Thompson, and James/Iguodala
It's seems fairly obvious that Durant and Westbrook have zero chance of ever winning a title. Or even a big game, for that matter.
Barbosa shot 5/5, and Livingston had 20. (He was scoring consistently on one of the Cavs best defenders, Shumpert). If this is a sign of things to come, this is going to be hilarious.
Last night shows why the Cavs can't beat the Warriors. They never will. The Thunder were a far tougher opponent for the Warriors then the Cavs. Durant, Westbrook, and Ibaka >>>>> LeBron, Irving, and Love
@strafe_prower: Have to take into account also that the Cavs hadn't played a game in a week or more. Plus I would not count on them getting that kind of production out of Livingston and Barbosa the rest of the series. There's going to be adjustments made by both coaches also. Lue barely played his bench last night. If the Cavs win game 2 then its a whole new series. If the Warriors win game 2 then its a huge hole for the Cavs to climb out of.
@pooty: WE DID IT!!!
Damn Goldenstate we were so close!!! Next year!!!!
But i still gotta give my props to Lebron James in the Cavs for making history and over coming a 50 plus year plus drought..
Great job, Cleveland! But what was the deal with so many Cavs bawling their eyes out?
I get that it's Father's Day, but man up. Sheesh!
When the Cavaliers won Games 5 and 6 with Lebron being so dominant... I was pulling hard for the Cavs to win Game 7 in Golden State. The fact that Lebron led these Cavs to a NBA Title after being down 3 - 1 to the 73 - 9 Golden State Warriors is Amazing.
Lebron James Legacy took a Huge Leap with this Win... so glad he won.
Cleveland be happy... you finally got a major championship under your belt.
@johnnyz256: I think part of coming back from being down 3-1 was a huge part of it plus having the hopes of Cleveland on their backs where there's been no pro titles in over 50 years. I also remember Jordan bawling like crazy after he won his first ring. It happens a lot in sports after teams spend 6 months climbing to the top.
@spambot: Shedding tears of joy is one thing. But sobbing like babies seems to be overkill.
@johnnyz256: Jordan was the same way in 91.
