Lebron is LEADING his team in assist. Has had at least 10 assist in two games in the Finals. And Lebron ALWAYS gives credit to his TEAM when they win and takes the blame when they lose. If the other players in the NBA want to be noticed........ then play better then Lebron!!!!!!!!!

Funny enough, I do.

You know, there's a reason why people hate Lebron. Could it because millions of other players are overlooked, while ESPN brags about him constantly?

I noticed your post before hand. That's why I hope Lebron loses, and Miami loses. I don't hate either of them. I want the media to stop hopping on Lebron's nuts constantly.

I'm a huge Jordan fan. Want to know what I won't deny? It's the same annoying shit. I'm a fan of The Bulls. Always have been, always will. Know what happens when people talk about The Bulls? "WELL, THEY'RE NOT ON JORDAN'S LEVEL." Totally overlooking the talent today. Want to know what happens without that? Now, Lebron gets all the spotlight.

It's annoying. Do I hate him personally? Hell no. Will I ever deny he's good? Hell no. Do I think he's overrated AND overhyped? God, yes. I just want the other talent to be noticed. Lebron doesn't seem to care about the other talent in my opinion.

Maybe you're simply looking at the fact that people are posting in favor of Lebron and PRETENDING that there are a bunch of angry Lebron fans in here, but you actually don't know who is and is not a Lebron fan.

You say you want the media to get off Lebron's nuts, what do you mean ESPN? Let's not act like everyone doesn't get their time to shine and that every media outlet is simply talking about Lebron. After his performance in the last game it was all about Danny Green and most of this series they've been talking about "San Antonio's big 3" and when they were playing the Pacers it was all about Roy Hibbert & Paul George so I don't really get where you're getting that the "media" is always on Lebron's nuts. The media, or better yet ESPN and sports media only cover the best in sport achievements so if it SEEMS like they were ever "on Lebron's nuts" it's PROBABLY because he deserves it.

I don't actually care why people don't like Lebron. I know why and most of it is petty. The only reason I responded to anyone in regards to their reasoning is because I feel some times, like with what you've just said I feel like people don't like Lebron just for the sake of not liking him because their reasoning is either exaggerated or petty.

They seem angry. It's like that with any Lebron issue. Take it for however you will, but Lebron fans don't accept the fact that people CAN not like him. Regardless of their issue, there always seems to be questioning. It's never "Okay, you're entilted to that opinion.". Do I go crazy when people insult Rose? Hell no. Did I go crazy when people downplayed Dwayne Wade? No. Did I go crazy when people insulted one of my favorites, Micheal Jordan? No. I didn't question them. I didn't say "You can't dislike him for that." It's what I see Lebron fans do all the time.

ESPN, most definitely. Hell, even the internet in a sense. I want them to get off his nuts, in both ways. In critizing, AND in praising. The guy isn't Jesus, and like I said, that does go both ways. And there's others that deserve it. Lebron isn't perfect, like I said. If he would be on it once and awhile, I completely understand. However, another thing that pisses me off, and it goes for any team that does it "Lebron and The Heat". That's been said by ESPN for a bit now, don't know if you just miss it, tune it out, I don't know. Acting like he's the ONLY player in The Heat that matters, when there are players busting their ass of just as much as he does.

"Most of it is petty." It's that type of attitude. Why can't you just accept the fact people may not like Lebron, EVEN IF you can't understand the reasoning. I get it, maybe he gets too much hate. Personally, I see it both ways. The guy gets overly hated, and overly praised. And it's so damn annoying.

If we assume for a second they are having a "heated" argument, you're still assuming who someone is a fan of. I'm defending Lebron but i'm not a Lebron fan, so that's kind of the point i'm making. You're using "fanboyism" to dismiss people's opinions. The idea is that there is something wrong with them, not with what they are arguing against.

Derek Rose didn't play all season, so why would he even be talked about? Who downplayed Dwayne Wade, all the people pointing out he's CLEARLY not the same Dwayne Wade he was in '06 when he won his first title or the same Dwayne Wade from '08-'09 before Miami got Lebron? Notice the words you use "do I go crazy"? Who exactly is going crazy about what is being said about Lebron? Who ever the best player is in the league at a certain point you can always find someone to say "he's overrated" or "he's overhyped". It's just hatin for the sake of hatin.

If a person doesn't like Lebron that is fine. But trying to explain why you don't like a person you don't know will always sound retarded. Just like people who hate on Kim Kardashian. People in the comment section always say: "They should stop talking about her"......while they themselves are talking about her

#1856 Posted by pooty (10321 posts) - - Show Bio

At the beginning of the series I did 2 parlay bets:

$20 on Spurs win series AND atleast 5 games AND atleast 1 OT to win $271

2nd bet was $20 Heat win series AND atleast 1 OT to win $131

So i'm hoping the Spurs have something left in the tank. Cuz I like the Heat, but I like money much more! lol

#1857 Posted by SideburnGuru (1335 posts) - - Show Bio

@pooty People hate Kim because she sat on her back literally doing nothing except smiling at a camera half naked, yet still getting more pay than a person who busts their ass off.

That's a reason. It's stupid to hate her, but that's one of the bigger reasons.

1. So what? A person is WRONG to make a thought off evaluating comments. If someone is defending Lebron like crazy, we're not to assume he's a Lebron fan. Okay. So, we're to assume I'm a hater of Lebron because I'm not too fond of him on here, and that I'm telling of people who ACT like fanboys.

2. Did you read what I just posted? I said, I don't go crazy when people INSULT them. I know D-Rose didn't play the season. I'm saying, people still INSULT him for such. Do I go crazy over it? No. You're acting a bit crazy. Just like every other person who here seems to be taking it as a PERSONAL insult when people are attacking Lebron. I might be seeing things the wrong way with that, but it's personally how I see people acting over Lebron. And didn't I say, hate OR like? I feel people are going crazy over both sides, when it's not even that personal. Why do you need to be tired of it? Why can't you just ignore it? So people are critizing Lebron. Why are you putting THEM on the hot seat for their opinion on not liking Lebron? People are allowed to that.

3. Hell, I could say I don't like him for many other reasons. But that's why I don't like him. That may not make sense to you, but it doesn't matter if it makes sense to you. People can not like him for no reason, and they're still allowed to that. Just like people can like him for no reason, and they're still allowed to that. I don't think you understand that bit.

4. Did you miss the part where I said any team, and not just Lebron? Or did we miss that part? And no, I don't find it being petty that I have an issue seeing as how every other player in the Heat, besides Bosh takes the backseat while Lebron takes all credit. Maybe at times, he does deserve a good chunk of it, but ignoring the other players is nonsensical.

5. And again, it's up to them to "hate". People may have their reasons, and they may seem petty. It just seems like YOU don't like their petty reasons, so automatically they're not allowed to their hate.

Who's the fool in this equation: The person who works their ass off for little pay or the one who makes millions by being cute? Hating on a person because they were able to turn their looks into money is sad and pathetic. Models and porn stars have been doing it for decades. Work smart not hard.

That's my point. You're saying that people are "ACTING" like fanboys when in reality they aren't. Calling someone a fanboys is dismissive. It suggests that someone is wrong because they are bias. I can only assume you're not even reading these people's posts. I don't see anything "fanboyish" and it's not because I happen to be on the same side. Yea, I read exactly what you just said. When you say "you don't go crazy when someone insults them" you're suggesting that, that's what people are doing here over Lebron, which isn't true. This is a forum. Anything you say on a forum that I or someone else disagrees with, they WILL say something about it. I'm not "taking it personal" just because I disagree with something you said. It doesn't have anything to do with fanboyism or taking something personal. I have to be tired of it because I hear it ALOT. On facebook, on ESPN, on websites unrelated to sports, in the streets, there is no shortage of people downplaying Lebron and hating for the sake of hating...THAT'S WHY I have to be tired of it.

@pooty: Who's the fool in this equation: The person who works their ass off for little pay or the one who makes millions by being cute?

Everyone is not born 'cute' so they can't use there looks to get paper. And to be honest is was not her cuteness that made her rich it is her being a slut in front of a camera that made her rich. I can pull people of the street that make Kim look like trash.

Hating on a person because they were able to turn their looks into money is sad and pathetic.

That's the thing though it was not her looks.

Models and porn stars have been doing it for decades. Work smart not hard.

And that's a shame people that actually do things and help the world (police officers, fire fighters school teachers etc) get payed less dough then someone doing nothing really relevant to the world. And to make myself perfectly clear I am not a Kim hater,I respect her business mind,I just wanted to reply to this.

@pooty Okay, reread the post you just quoted.

"It's stupid to hate her, but that's one of the bigger reasons."
When did I say I suggested that? If anything, I agree with you. She's just like any other model who just lays on her back and gets money thrown at her. It isn't a bad thing. It's completely lazy, but it's not a bad thing.

On a side note, that's not working smart either. Not going into full debate with you, but laying on your back allowing people to take snap-shots of you half naked isn't exactly a smart job. Infact, it proves that even people who probably use barely any education can get more money than a person who goes to college. It's not exactly a thing people should be boosting.

1. When did I say that? If someone wants to like Lebron, go for it. I don't care. Those same people shouldn't be telling the OTHER side, "YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO HATE LEBRON.". What the hell are you talking about there isn't Lebron fans here? So again I ask, I can't come up with the conclusion that people defending Lebron, may actually like Lebron. Let's also remember this whole argument started over the fact I made ONE SIMPLE COMMENT, that YOU had to dismiss for some reason. I said Lebron fans were getting mad. That's it. That's how I saw it. You had to dismiss it. Just like some people here are trying to shoot down ANY reason to not like Lebron, because THEY don't understand it. That's my beef. So yes, I came up with the evaulation that those people were fans of Lebron, or liked Lebron when all they did was constantly defend him without pointing out any flaws the man has. Just like I can come up with the thought that the people attacking Lebron, only hate him and don't mention any of his up-sides.

2. I could say the same thing for why I'm TIRED of Lebron. See, that's where the lack of communication is here. You hear one thing, I hear that thing AND the other. I hear people PRAISING Lebron like he's Jesus, then also critizing him when the team fails. BUT THAT'S IT. That's all I hear non-stop from my basketball friends, or just casual sports fans. It's all about Lebron. Lebron did this, Lebron did that. Lebron's Heat. Forget Chris Anderson. Forget Bosh. Forget Dwayne Wade. Forget Rashard Lewis. Forget all of them. IT'S ALL ABOUT LEBRON. That's why it's so damn annoying to me. I get it, "you want spotlight, you have to step it up." Okay, when people see that, the amount of ignorance is just oozing. Those people do bust their ass off, but it's never put on them. IT'S PUT ON LEBRON. With losing AND winning. I understand it's a forum, but it doesn't give anyone the right to say "YOU CAN'T DISLIKE HIM FOR NO REASON." When they obviously can. Opinions can carry on anywhere. You can debate, I love debating. This is currently what we're doing. However, opinions are still allowed to exist. People don't need to have a specific reason to hate Lebron, and no one here needs to put them on the spot for it.

3. Yeah, you can. But that doesn't take away the fact that you're trying to take away someone's OWN opinion on Lebron, because YOU don't like it. You can call those reasons whatever you want, but you just said it. IF YOU dont' agree with it, it's petty. Maybe I should change it to that. So far, every reason I've seen people say they hate Lebron have been attempted to be shot down, because others dont' agree with it. Why?

It'd go both ways. If people were praising Lebron, and people said "THAT'S NOT A GOOD REASON TO LIKE HIM." I'd say the same exact thing. But I don't see that too often, hence, I don't NEED to put that out there.

What happened to point 4? Whatever.

5. But you have to keep CRITIZING people's opinions on Lebron. I get it's a forum, but you know people would get pissed if others just said "I THINK LIKING LEBRON FOR _____ REASON IS PETTY AND STUPID."

This has gotten ridiculous at this point....

Tony Parker and Danny Green better step their game up if they ant to win game 7.

Manu Ginobili needs to play well also...

@sideburnguru: Infact, it proves that even people who probably use barely any education can get more money than a person who goes to college.

yeah, lets not get into a full debate about it cuz your last post is......... well whatever. Derrick Rose just puts a ball in a hole. so he shouldn't make money? Steve Martin just makes jokes. Adele just sings. everyone can't go to college or be genius. using any talent you have to make money is fine. and hating on someone who has an easier life is just as sad.

@dccomicsrule2011: Everyone is not born 'cute' so they can't use there looks to get paper. And to be honest is was not her cuteness that made her rich it is her being a slut in front of a camera that made her rich. I can pull people of the street that make Kim look like trash.

Making a movie with the person you're involved with does NOT make you a slut. They were boyfriend and girlfriend. it was meant to be a personal movie. it was released YEARS after it was filmed by him not her. I don't think that makes her a slut. and if she was not cute or attractive then people would have forgotten about her.

That's the thing though it was not her looks.

it was. many have made sex tapes. Lawrence fishbourns daughter. that teenage mom. Octomom have all did it. it was her looks that made her stand out. her looks caught people attention and she turned it into millions.

And that's a shame people that actually do things and help the world (police officers, fire fighters school teachers etc) get payed less dough then someone doing nothing really relevant to the world.

We live in a world where you don't get paid according to the importance of your job, but how much money you generate.

And to make myself perfectly clear I am not a Kim hater,I respect her business mind

that's cool. i just can't hate on someone who found an easy way to make money. I think many people wish we could have fun while making money.

#1867 Edited by SideburnGuru (1335 posts) - - Show Bio

@pooty: Oh my God, dude. Seriously? When did I say they shouldn't make money? I'm saying, the way we're raised, I feel as though a person who at least excels in the education department should excel in making money for taking the time to learn, and mastering their craft. Same thing goes for any athlete who trained hard, or any singer who perfected their craft.

I don't see what Kim did. I never will. She can make money, I don't care. All I'm saying is, she took the easy way out by laying on her back and letting people take pictures of her half naked. That's it. And then she got a show that was half as annoying as Jersey Shore. Take that whichever way you will.

Just stop it there.

Who will win? I'm going with the Spurs, I picked them to win in seven so it is only fitting I pick them here. What will be the score? Spurs 95-Heat 90. Who will be Finals MVP? Tony Parker probably.

Hoping the Heat can win Game 7...

Lebron James would have to be MVP

Right. I'm asking for predictions

In that case, I say Spurs win, or at least I hope so, with Tony Parker as MVP. Parker, Green, Ginobili, and Duncan should out score Wade, Allen, Chalmers, and even Lebron. Also Wade and Bosh have a tendency to not help out Lebron in scoring like they should thus James has to do most of the work and even though he may be the best in the world, he can't beat the Spurs by himself. Plus, he seems to have a lot of trouble with Danny Green.

Spurs ftw.

Who is winning game 7? What is the score? Who is MVP?

If the Heat DO win, which is what I think..the only player that could possibly be MVP is Lebron. He's done all the work thus far, I doubt it will change. I believe it was Manu or TP that said they don't know how the Spurs are going to win game 7. I think they might be burnt out.

I am curious will Lebron James play the entire Game 7 without his Headband ? It seems like dude was all out when his Head Covering was off. Maybe it's like him going Goku Super Saiyan or something... he can only sustain that bent hairline being exposed for a short duration then he has to cover himself again.

Miami Heat win the NBA Championship !

Lebron James quest to Greatness continues...

MIAMI HEAT BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never been so happy to lose money!!!!!!

#1880 Posted by TexasDingo (205 posts) - - Show Bio

Although I was a Spurs fan, congratulations to the Heat. Ray Allen should be the MVP because if it wasn't for him there would be no game 7. Stern is still a douche though.

I've been one of LeBron's biggest critics. But these last two games, he proved me wrong. Dead wrong. He's certainly made his mistakes, but he flat out delivered when it counted, and no one can deny that after watching this series. Great series for the ages. Congrats to the Heat.

The best point of the series was Greg Popovich. After the game he seemed genuinely happy for Miami. He kissed Lebron. He kissed that man. Much respect to Pop

Basketball would be so interesting with hockey rules but still on a court.

@vance_astro: @dccomicsrule2011: @glitch_spawn: @venomoushatred1001: Charles Barkley recently said:

Barkley said he already has LeBron in his all time top 10, but said he won’t ever put him in his top five of all time: Michael Jordan, Oscar Robertson, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Bill Russell. On the next level is LeBron, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and Jerry West.

Is it reasonable to assume that Lebron will never surpass those people?

Wait he does not have Tim Duncan in the top 10? Anyway yes, I believe LeBron could possibly surpass them all, I also disagree with Sir Charles top 10 ranking but I guess that is another discussion for another time unless you would like to hear it now?

LeBron is a top six Player of all time Period. I can make a case for him being a top 3 player of all time.

LeBron is better than Duncan & Kobe...and to be honest I couldn't put Wilt over him either. If anything Shaq should be on this list rather than Wilt.

I think the level LeBron is playing right now is better then Duncan and Kobe has ever played but they have longevity over him and as a whole has done more in there career respective careers then Bron has. Longevity plays a key factor in my criteria for determining player ranking and Bron does not have the legacy Kobe and Duncan has.......yet.
