Exorcist, the original. If you have any passing fancy on religion and the spirituality of demons and angels thenthat movie would be creepy as hell (no pun intended). Seriously, the movie will put your nerves on end and then have something like the hidden demons pop up on you.

Halloween 1978

The Exorcist 1973

lol Jaws made me scared to go in the water.

the scariest thing that I've ever watched though was the overseas decapitations, because the fact that they're real is what scares me.

I thought that the short story of 1408 was creepier. It was messed up.

Stephen King books are always creepier than the movies. That why I don't read Stephen King xP

I liked "Dead Silence" I thought it was pretty creepy.

The upcoming Unborn flick looks to be scary. Here's to hoping.

along with Jon Carpenters remake of The Thing, Exorcist (original), and most Chucky movies

#35 Posted by Lantern Prime (13044 posts) - - Show Bio

Wait a second so John Carpenter's the Thing was a remake of movie before it with the same name?

Another scary movie was Candyman. Go on, say that 5 tiems in the mirror.

I have to say 'The Exorcist' is the scariest i seen. it still freaks me out a bit...
#46 Posted by MrMiracle77 (1659 posts) - - Show Bio

The Thing made me jump out of my skin, but The Exorcist had that creepy vibe to it that made my skin crawl.

Exorcist also has a strong reputation going for it.  I didn't see the movie until I was 30 (lack of interest), but the movie's mystique really built up my anticipation and overall creepy ambiance.

#47 Posted by cracks (6625 posts) - - Show Bio
@rbysjti: Interestingly enough, I found the American version to be scarier than the Japanese version.
