The most OVERRATED Characters by the FANS in your opinion?

It's mostly the masses that haven't read the comics. I always hear how bad ass he is, when he is basically the Boba Fett of the show.

Fans in general are horrible at knowing the difference between the best and the strongest character. Most by claiming their favorite is the strongest. A lot by claiming the strongest is the best.

Ok I gotta say I disagree with the dude who said GL? When does GL get overrated? I mean if it's Ion or Parallax...but normal GL? I don't think he gets that overrated at all honestly. If anything I think he's underrated at times. Also hard to say Superman when the guy is older than everyone on this site, has about 100 different versions some Godlike, others just powerful still but vulnerable.

I'd like to add a few besides Thanos, Thor, Batman. Squirrel girl anyone? I'd mention anime characters but I think we all know that drill already.

For gaming characters, definitely Asura and Kratos...coming from a big gamer neither are the most powerful.

Presence, TOAA, God of whatever universe i don't fret much over personally due to them being God. Some of those other names you mentioned i never heard of.

The question was who is the most overrated by the fans. Does Squirrelgirl even have fans? She doesn't really get overrated by fans she just canonically has the gimmick of being able to beat anyone, which is why she sucks in my opinion.

I'm aware. But to answer your question yes she is whenever someone makes a battle with her. She may not have the topics due to lack of popularity but that doesn't mean she can't be overrated, I noticed you have 23 posts so perhaps you're newer here but if you dig up squirrel girl topics you'll find people overrate her and use the "she can beat anyone cause she beat Thanos and Dr. Doom!!!" line but in reality is just a goofy character that controls squirrels and wins due to plot/bad writing. It's not like she's Mxy who also goofy however IS actually powerful. Either way be it a gimmick, bad writing or her fanbase, all the same difference since she's technically not that powerful. She wins due to plot devices because she has to save the day, similar to SA Superman but at least he's Superman and a lot of those stories weren't nearly as ridiculous as that of Squirrel-Girl. She's a very cartoony character in concept.

I agree with these lists though I'd also add Thor at times to this list. I also can't say how tired I am of seeing 'Death Seed Sentry can beat anyone 'arguments. Second worst I concur would have to be Thanos.
